It will probably not be a secret that many people dream of celebrating next year with fun and excitement. Moreover, no one has canceled the well-known saying: “When you meet New Year, that’s how you’ll spend it.” However, some people are at a loss on the eve of the holiday because they do not know how to ensure fun on New Year's Eve. In fact, the solution is quite simple - throw a party in folk style and remember funny ditties for the New Year 2019.

Funny and cheerful quatrains accompanied by an accordion or a cappella have always been very popular among our people. They were performed during almost all folk festivals. They sang about our lives with a certain amount of irony. While relaxing and performing ditties, people made fun of shortcomings in the hope of becoming better.

Origin and characteristics

Chatushki, as a genre of folk art, arose in the mid-eighteenth century. They appeared among rural youth. Mostly they were performed by guys accompanied by an accordion or balalaika. Chatushki, as a rule, were of an everyday nature and told about life. Most often, they had a major tone and were verses that alternated one after another with or without one melody. The poems were written in the trochee style and were usually performed without the use of literary expressions. Very often they were satirical in nature and represented an improvisation on a specific topic. The ditties are addressed to a specific person or a specific audience. They are usually performed semi-talkingly in a sing-song manner.

There are ditties different types:

  • with lyrical content on all sorts of topics. Typically these are four-line choruses;
  • for dances - they have a special rhythm, they also consist of four lines, but they are shorter;
  • “Apple” type - are of a love nature and are more common in Ukraine;
  • suffering - also related to love, have two lines and are performed in a slow and drawn-out manner. They are widespread in central Russia and the Volga region;
  • “Semyonovna” - named after the image of a broken Russian woman, has two lines and a mournful rhythm of performance;
  • “Matanya” - the name arose from the word with which the performers addressed their loved ones. This ditty is performed in tetrameter trochee.

Examples of New Year's ditties

Recently, this genre of folk art is increasingly used in concerts and youth parties. They perfectly lift the spirits of the participants and make the holiday unforgettable.

New Year is coming soon
He'll come rushing in on a sleigh.
He's probably already
There's a knock on our window.

In our yard there is
Snowman with a broom
Watches the dark night
He is our home from the wolf.

On New Year's Day, on New Year's Day
Nobody can sleep!
In every house there is old and young
Having fun all night.

Oh, winter, winter, winter,
How many snowdrifts she made!
The people are not sad -
Celebrates the New Year!

Winter holiday New Year,
I love you most of all!
The long-awaited Chimes
There's no way I'll oversleep!

Father Frost for the New Year
There was also a funny guy
He drank vodka in the cold,
And he sculpted Baba Snow.

Santa Claus I'm in the bag
I'll do a review.
He was going to give
The whole division!

What does the spruce look like?
On the New Year's Eve on the carousel!
She has it on all sides
Now a deer, now a horse, now an elephant,
And in a circle through the lights
They jump merrily.

Winter holiday New Year,
I love you most of all!
The long-awaited Chimes
There's no way I'll oversleep!

Happy New Year
I send you a warm HELLO!
I wish you all good health
And live to be 100 years old!

Comic ditties
I fell in love with Santa Claus
And I forgot about my husband
And when I came home
He was already sitting with someone else!

Santa Claus in our village
I danced around with Natasha.
And now I’ll tell you, guys,
Natasha has snow cubs.

I spent the New Year
Nourishing, but fun!
And now in my hut
The mouse hanged itself from hunger!

I wanted it for the holiday
Mother's eggs are vigorous,
I'm full of sandwiches
I'll remember it for a year!

Santa Claus got drunk and drunk
And he snores under the Christmas tree,
And Snegurochka to Demyan
She ran off to rustle.

New Year is coming,
Everyone will be a loser.
Will bring surprises again
Putin with deputies.

Don't break, TV,
We ask you kindly.
In the New Year we are waiting for a surprise -
Pena Kolya Baskova.

My favorite is Olivier
Pig really likes it
After every party
The pigs eat him up.

Santa Claus brought us in a bag
The book "Kama Sutra".
My husband didn't go to work...
Didn't notice the morning.

I danced and danced
And, dancing, she lost her way.
Santa Claus is so good
I fell in love with him!
Choruses for adults
Like the Snow Maiden with white cheeks
I kissed you until the morning -
Didn't run away, didn't send,
It didn't melt! Hooray!

My darling doesn't come to me,
It's only promised.
With the Snow Maiden under the Christmas tree
Meets every day!

Old Grandfather Frost,
He pestered the Snow Maiden.
Made her cry
Snuck up to her skirt.

Come on guys, come into the house.
Let's have fun
Let's drink some vodka, then
You can also get married.

If I was young,
If I was frisky -
I would dance on the table
And I could climb onto the Christmas tree!

Rehash in the Year of the Pig
The giver's hand never fails.
Our Pig is generous. And bye
She'll have something to give you
She will always help.

May your soul live on
At peace with myself -
Then you are in the most piggish year
You won't be a pig.

The noble Pig is good,
She has such a subtle soul!
So gallant, gentle and modest,
She is defenseless and trusting.

We wish everyone who works
Generous earthly joy.
Will be in the year of the Pig owner
With chop and ham!

I wish you New Year's
To plant a pig on enemies -
Let them think, cry,
Let them not act like pigs in the future!

Let there be a little pig
Generous for happiness and success.
Let her bring it on her back
A bag of love, good luck and goodness!

The Pig is dear to us most of all,
Even an evil blizzard is not scary for her.
Our Pig is not only smart,
She is a storehouse of different virtues.

There are bright toys on the Christmas tree.
The window is in patterns made of ice,
May this year of the eastern Piggy
You will be luckier than ever!

Love will suddenly come,
The pig will become even happier.
The year will be marked with luck,
Nobody lives so richly.

Someone in ancient times came up with it.
To the Pig mascot
She brought good luck to the house,
And the coins go into your pocket!

How do ditties differ from songs and poems?

Chastooshkas, or choruses, short songs, arose in rural areas in the middle of the 19th century. Their main difference from songs is that choruses were performed only on holidays. In addition, ditties have their own distinctive features:

The origins of ditties are play and dance choruses, “collective” round dance songs, buffoon jokes, wedding “teasers” and city songs.

A selection of New Year's ditties for children

New Year's ditties are most often dedicated to the main character of the holiday - Santa Claus:

  • That's how Grandfather Frost -
    Seriously froze everyone.
    Look at the guys
    They all stand like icicles.

Santa Claus is the main character of New Year's ditties

  • Why at Uncle Dima's
    Are your cheeks itchy?
    - This is for the role of Santa Claus
    The beard is getting ready!
  • Our Santa Claus with a beard,
    With a lush mustache,
    But, as a young guy,
    Dancing with us.
  • New Year is coming -
    I'll dress brightly!

  • Santa Claus, take the bag,
    Untie the strings.
And get it for us quickly
    Fashionable new things!

The beloved granddaughter of Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden, is also not ignored by ditties:

The bright “guest” of the New Year’s room - the green beauty of the Christmas tree - often appears as the heroine of funny ditties:

Children also don’t forget about the Snowman, Santa Claus’s faithful assistant:

New Year - magical holiday, and fairy tale characters are also not forgotten in winter ditties:

Baba Yaga also loves to have fun and sing New Year's ditties

What would New Year be without forest animals - bunnies, foxes, wolves and, of course, bears:

The symbol of the coming 2019 is the Pig. Well, how can you not sing a ditty about a pig!

If desired, children can find and learn a New Year's ditty about their favorite animal or fairy-tale character.

New Year's ditties for children of different ages

Every child is happy with ditties: cheerful, perky choruses will not leave anyone indifferent. So that the baby is imbued with not only the music, but also the text, ditties for children of different ages are different.

Children as young as 2 years old can understand choruses. For such boys and girls, ditties help them to penetrate the atmosphere of the New Year holiday, which is not yet very clear to them. Chastushkas for children 2–4 years old consist of 4–6 lines with simple text:

For children 4–6 years old, ditties on a kindergarten theme are relevant:

Younger schoolchildren and teenagers can be invited to come up with and perform ditties of their own composition at the holiday.

Video: children sing New Year's ditties

Video: a girl performs New Year's ditties to the accompaniment of a balalaika

Singing ditties to children and with children is a wonderful pastime. The child not only develops memory and a sense of rhythm, but also, what is equally important, is imbued with the atmosphere of a miracle and a fairy tale, the name of which is New Year!

These funny quatrains are familiar to many from early childhood. They can be found quite often in scripts because they are not only easy to remember, but also have the ability to lift the mood of even the most gloomy adults. For children, New Year's ditties are composed of a wide variety of topics and can affect not only the heroes of the New Year: Father Frost, Snow Maiden, etc., but also very ordinary things: vacations, wish fulfillment, embarrassing situations on the street during games, etc.

Funny children's New Year's ditties about the heroes of the holiday

What New Year is complete without Santa Claus and his granddaughter? Perhaps none. They, like a decorated Christmas tree, are harbingers of a magical New Year's Eve. Therefore, ditties about Santa Claus are the main ones that children are happy to learn and tell not only at matinees, but also at home. For preschoolers, you can offer these ditties:

Our Santa Claus with a beard,

With a lush mustache,

But, as a young guy,

Dancing with us.

What are you doing, Grandfather Frost,

Are you checking your chair?

Is it really true for your grandchildren?

So you don't trust me?

And for the guys school age ones that would reflect their New Year's wishes:

Santa Claus, take the bag,

Untie the strings.

And get it for us quickly

Fashionable new things!

Give us, Santa Claus,

And skating rinks and slides!

Turn it for us, Santa Claus,

“Twos” are all “fives”!

In addition to the main character of the holiday, there are ditties about the Snow Maiden, the Snowman, Evil spirits etc. Children's New Year's ditties about them are as funny and playful as those about Grandfather Frost, and their meaning is so simple that even small children will understand:

The Snow Maiden's is up to the floor,

The braid has already grown.

While I was walking down the corridor,

I swept the floor with my scythe.

The snowman was tumbling

All day in a snowdrift.

The whole snowdrift stuck to him,

The snowman is huge.

Grandma Ezhka made everyone laugh,

She was running near the Christmas tree.

We are not afraid of her

We are brave guys!

Cool children's New Year's ditties about different life situations

Perhaps this is the largest subgroup of these funny quatrains. They talk about all sorts of ridiculous situations, and, very often, about making rather extraordinary decisions to get out of them. Here you can find quatrains about preparations for the New Year, about matinees, holidays, etc. In addition, the words for New Year's children's ditties can reflect not only the behavior of the child himself, but also his environment. Therefore, it is always worth remembering that when selecting these quatrains for any celebration, you need to take into account the limit of criticism addressed to the heroes of the ditties. After all, for example, an old grandmother who wraps her grandchildren up for winter games on the street, it will be difficult to explain that this is only sarcasm, but not a desire to offend her.

We swept away the needles

What a lot of “holiday” troubles!

Someone fell into the fragments,

Cool holiday - New Year!

Well, dad is wearing a wolf mask

I made a face until

What the Christmas tree couldn't bear,

And fell on him!

Near the house, by the skating rink

I made a snowman

Made a nose out of a carrot

It turned out to be Santa Claus.

I danced under the Christmas tree,

And she stomped her feet,

I picked gingerbread cookies from the branches,

And I ate the candy!

I sit on the sled

I'm boldly rolling down the hill,

Let it be white from the snow,

But how brave!

This holiday is simply a miracle!

You couldn't find more fun!

The downside is that guests come

Plus - that I don’t have to go to kindergarten.

Funny New Year's ditties for children o

Not a single concert, both in kindergarten and school, is complete without careful preparation. New Year's image child. Moreover, not only parents and grandparents take part in this, but also the baby himself. Therefore, putting on a ready-made suit, embroidered with bright tinsel, and going to the celebration in it is perhaps one of the most long-awaited events of the upcoming holiday. Snowflakes, Bunnies, Firecrackers, Snowmen and a number of other characters can be found at the New Year's party. And what funny things can happen to them - read below:

Dad put me on a suit

Spider-Man.

Comic New Year's ditties for children about their wishes

As everyone knows, New year's night– this is the time of fulfillment of your most cherished desires. Children, sometimes without thinking, ask Grandfather Frost for the most unexpected, and sometimes impossible, things for their parents. Of course, not finding what you want under the tree on the morning of January 1 can be very disappointing, but such, as they say, is life. But parents will help their child cope with a bad mood by singing simple ditties. The plot of these quatrains can be about any desires, but if you are faced with a similar situation, choose instructive and positive ditties. Perhaps they will help the child reconsider his attitude towards the wishes he makes a little.

Since I can’t write -

Let mom write for now.

“Santa Claus, come quickly

I'd like a puppy, please!"

Early in the morning from bed

Came out with grief in half,

I looked under the spruce branches -

The cubes were there!

Of course I understand -

I need to learn letters.

Only on holiday I wish

Still get a puppy.

So, children's New Year's ditties for the New Year are not only cute and heartfelt, but also very instructive. They will be appropriate as New Year's party, and when Santa Claus communicates with the children at home. This is not only a wonderful alternative to poetry, but also a guarantee that adults and children will receive a huge charge of positivity.
