I would never have thought that such a “simple” doll could fit into my collection of monsters. Their pancake faces scared me away until the last moment. The only thing that confused me and still made me buy this cutie was her beautiful body.
Deciding not to bother, I simply went to the nearest “DM”, thinking that I would simply choose the most beautiful one. There were many dolls. I liked the basic Apple the most; there were about twenty pre-releases. I began to rummage on the shelf in search of the perfect one... There were two others right next to the wall, this was the first issue. I was happy, took the beauty and went to the checkout.
That's how I got Apple.
The box is large, made in the form of a book volume.
The backdrop is very beautifully painted, as if in watercolors.
There are “pages” at the top and left. On the left side it says “Ever After High” (probably many did this when they were bored in class).
On the spine it says whose daughter she is, as well as the art and sign of the heir.

The keyhole tells us about the presence of a stand. The base is carved, exactly repeating the brand logo. There is also a comb in the shape of a key. (All this is made of gold plastic, since Apple is the heir).
Having unpacked the doll, I was amazed. The story and the box itself have not been translated, i.e. the information from the doll’s “book” is not lost.

The dress is made of dense iridescent fabric, the skirt consists of two parts: the upper one has a gradient, and the lower one is covered with a gold floral pattern.
My dress is a marriage: two identical linden trees. Therefore, I had to modernize it a little by sewing a button to it (and this happens with MATTEL).
The bolero is covered in a print that reminds me of fish scales. Sewn with high quality, fits beautifully.
The tights are made of mesh fabric, which has no stretch at all.

The shoes amaze me with their detail (what else can you expect from MATTEL?). The heel is made in the shape of an apple, the heel seems to wrap around a thorn. Because The shoes are made of soft rubber, the heel constantly bends, but the shoes do not lose their stability. There is a slit at the back for easy removal of shoes from the doll.
There are cute little bows on the front, painted gold.
There are many accessories:
The bullseye bag opens easily. Very roomy (you can put all your accessories in it).
My hair is long (knee length) and gets very oily. Therefore, as soon as I took the doll out of the box, I went to wash her hair. And then she braided them into a braid.
The makeup is natural and not flashy. The lips have three white dots representing shine.

The curve of the back is not so steep, the figure is more human.
The handles are fuller, but the brushes are more graceful. Marigolds are visible on the fingers.
Skara and Vaidona had such brushes... The ring can only be put on such fingers.

Re-releases of basic Ever After High dolls (second wave) are different from the first. Towards simplification. The dolls are missing many accessories - for example, there are no rings, bracelets, and some dolls have changed the design of their clothes. Dexter, according to reviews, has neither a scarf, nor a backpack, nor a badge on his jacket, nor a keychain on his trousers.
And Apple White, as can be seen in the photographs, does not have tights. The difference is also visible on the hands - there is no ring and bracelet. In general - the same thing, Mattel dolls, original, but they are simpler. For those who have not seen the first version, there will be no difference, and for those who have seen it, it will be a slight disappointment.
In stores, as a rule, they do not indicate which doll is on sale, wave 1 or wave 2. The first one is almost impossible to find today, on sale in spring 2015 - second option, and the descriptions and photographs in many stores remain from the first dolls.
