You will need
Yarn (40% merino wool, 30% viscose, 20% polyamide, 10% cashmere; 90 m/50 g) - 400 g beige and 200 g gray; knitting needles No. 5; circular knitting needles No. 5.

Patterns and schemes

Garter stitch

Rhombus A
Cast on 63 stitches and knit 1 purl row; this row is not taken into account in subsequent indications of the number of rows.

Continue work according to diagram 1. It shows the 1st half of a rhombus with a middle loop. Add the 2nd half in a mirror image; to do this, read the loops of the pattern without the middle loop from left to right, while instead of knitting loops together with a tilt to the left, knit 2 loops together with the front one and for the “braid” constantly cross 6 loops to the left.

The diagram shows the facial rows. In the purl rows, knit all the loops according to the pattern or acc. instructions.

After 60 rows from the initial row, knit the remaining 3 loops as 1 loop with a double slant to the left, cut the thread and pull through the last loop.

Diamond B
Knit like diamond A, but after 52 rows from the beginning row, bind off the remaining 11 sts as purl stitches.

Braid pattern
The number of loops is a multiple of 8 + 2 edge loops = knit according to. diagram 2. It shows the facial rows. In the purl rows, knit all the loops according to the pattern.

Constantly repeat rapport between edges. Repeat rows 1–8 constantly.

Rubber
Rows in forward and reverse directions (the number of loops is a multiple of 4 + 2 edge loops). Edge, * 1 purl, 2 knit, 1 purl, from * constantly repeat, edge.

Circular rows (number of loops is a multiple of 4): alternately knit 2, purl 2.

Flat seams
External hinges garter stitch diamonds after the front and back rows form a visible “knot”. For the seam, join the knots of the aligned edges using a butt overcast stitch.

If the “knotted” edge coincides with the starting row, butt-join 1 knot with 1 loop of the starting row, respectively.

If the initial rows coincide in the middle of the front, connect the loops of the initial rows with a butt stitch.

Knitting density
Diamond A – width 33 cm, height 27.5 cm;
rhombus B – width 33 cm, height 25.5 cm;
21 p. x 22.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a braid pattern (measure slightly stretched);
19 p. x 23 r./circle. R. = 10 x 10 cm, tied with an elastic band (measure slightly stretched).

Attention!
The dimensions of the diamonds were obtained by measuring the model.

Sleeves are knitted from top to bottom. Arrow on pattern = knitting direction.

Pattern

Completing of the work

Back
Work 2 diamonds A and 1 diamond B with gray thread; arrows on pattern = knitting direction. Sew the details according to pattern, making flat seams.

Before
Knit like a back.

Sleeves
Using beige thread, cast on 74 loops and knit in a “braid” pattern, while knitting the edges only in garter stitch.

After 39 cm = in the 88th row from the starting row (= purl row), knit the 2nd + 3rd loop on each “braid” and the 4th + 5th loop together with the purl = 38 stitches.

Continue working with the rubber band.

After 25 cm = 58 rows from the beginning of knitting the bar, close all the loops according to the pattern.

Assembly
The “braided” edges of the sleeves and the beveled side edges of the back and front are joined at 39 cm with flat seams.

Due to the different number of rows, there are more knots on the edges of the sleeves than on the edges of the diamonds. Therefore, when making seams, skip approximately every 4th knot on the edge of the sleeves.

The seams of the sleeve strips are also done as flat seams.

Using beige thread, cast on 152 stitches on circular needles along the edge of the neckline and for a turn-down collar, knit 30 cm with an elastic band in circular rows. Then loosely close the loops according to the pattern.

Pattern "Braids"

Knitting density
22 p. x 32 r. = 10 x 10 cm, connected connected stockinette stitch knitting needles No. 4.5.

Attention!
The knitting density must be as specified! Therefore, before starting work, you should knit a sample pattern: cast on 36 stitches and knit 14 cm in stockinette stitch.

Then count the loops on the middle section of the manufactured sample, 10 cm long: if there are more than 22 loops on this section, change the knitting needles to thicker ones, if there are fewer, to thinner ones. The main thing is that the density of your knitting matches the specified density across the width.

Knit the product on the same knitting needles as the sample. If the instructions indicate only one number, then it applies to all sizes.

Completing of the work

Back
On knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 78 sts and knit in a pattern according to the pattern (1st row = purl row), while at the end of each row, cast on 2 (3) 4 times 6 sts on both sides. The first 6 sts cast on . Include in the pattern on both sides, knit in stockinette stitch on the remaining cast-on stitches.

After the last 6 stitches cast on, continue to cast on 4 stitches on both sides at the end of each row - a total of 14 times = 214 (226) 240 stitches.

After 3 r. after the last row with cast-on loops in the next person. row, start decreasing the loops: knit 1, knit 2 stitches together, knit to the last 3 stitches on the knitting needle, remove 1 stitch, knit the next loop and pull the removed loop through the knitted one, knit 1. Repeat these decreases every 4th r. (= in every 2nd row) - complete 11 rows with decreases.

Knit 3 p. after the last row with decreases and mark the beginning of the armholes.

Continue knitting with raglan decreases, but now in every 2nd r. (= in each person row).

Important!
In the pattern, make decreases according to the pattern. When 64 (68) 72 stitches remain, bind off the loops.

Before
Knit like a back, but at the same time knit the neckline: when there are 82 (86) 90 sts on the knitting needles, continue making raglan decreases, close off the middle 30 (34) 38 sts and finish both sides separately.

To round the neck, close from the inner edge at the beginning of each row.
4 times 4 stitches each (continuing to perform raglan decreases!), then bind off the remaining loops in one row.

Right sleeve
On needles No. 4, cast on 86 (94) 102 sts and knit with an elastic band (= alternately purl 2, knit 2, 1st row = purl row). When 16 cm of elastic is knitted, continue working in stockinette stitch using knitting needles No. 4.5.

Important!
On the 1st decrease the stitches evenly so that there are 76 (84) 92 stitches on the needles.

After 4 r. after the elastic band, add 1 stitch on both sides (after/before the edge loops) in every 4th row. – only 10 times = 96 (104) 112 p.

Knit 3 p. after the last increases, mark the beginning of the armholes and begin raglan decreases: knit 1, knit 2 sts together, knit to the last 3 sts on the knitting needle, slip 1 st, knit the next loop and pull the removed loop through the knitted one, knit 1.

Perform raglan decreases every 4th row. (= in every 2nd row).

When 34 p. remain and 1 p. is knitted. after the last row with raglan decreases, close for a bevel at the beginning of each face. row (continuing raglan decreases at the end of the row!) 4 times 6 sts, bind off the remaining loops in one row.

Left sleeve
Knit like the right one, but the top bevel is a mirror image.

Assembly
Sew the parts on the front side with mattress and knitted seams = mattress - longitudinal edges of the parts (= 1 r. x 1 r.), with a knitted seam - edges with closed loops.

Sew raglan seams, starting from the armhole marks.

Execute side seams and sleeve seams.

Bottom bar
Using circular knitting needles No. 4, cast on stitches along the bottom edge of the product from the front side of the loop: start from the right side seam and cast on 1 stitch from each cast-on loop + 1 additional loop for every 2nd loop (the number of loops should be a multiple of 4 stitches. ).

Knit in the round with an elastic band (= alternately knit 2, purl 2) for approximately 9 cm, then bind off the stitches.

Neck trim
Using circular needles No. 4, cast on stitches along the edge of the neckline on the front side of the work: start from the right raglan seam on the back and cast on 1 st from each closed loop along the entire edge of the neckline.

Knit 1 row in a circle. knit stitches, evenly decreasing the stitches so that there are 132 (140) 148 sts on the knitting needles. Then knit: 1 p. purl, 1 p. knit and then continue working with an elastic band (= alternately knit 2, purl 2).

When the width of the binding is 4 cm, close the loops.

Attention!
The pattern of the back and front is diamond shaped. The dimensions in the instructions always refer to the outer edges. The number of rows of middle loops due to the inclined direction of knitting reaches a height of approx. 83 (95) cm.

Arrow on the pattern = direction of knitting and line of middle loops.

Pattern

Completing of the work

Back
Using gray thread on needles No. 6, cast on 84 (96) loops and for the placket, knit 2 cm = 5 rows with an elastic band, starting with 1 purl row.

Continue work according to sequence of stripes, while for the side edge with an olive thread, cast on another 84 (96) new loops at the end of the 1st front row and include in the sequence of stripes = 168 (192) sts.

For an inclined pattern, first mark the 2 middle loops.

Then in the 3rd row = front row from the placket/starting row, make decreases as follows: knit the 1st middle loop with the previous loop together with the front one, in stripes of purl garter stitch, knit together with the purl stitch; Knit the 2nd middle loop with the next loop together with a knit stitch with a slant to the left (slip the middle loop like a knit one, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop), in stripes of purl garter stitch, knit the 2nd middle loop with the next loop together with the purl stitch = 166 (190) p.

Repeat these decreases another 81 (93) times on each front row.

After 66.5 cm = 166 rows (76 cm = 190 rows) from the bar/starting row, bind off the remaining 4 loops as knit stitches, 2 loops of which belong to the shoulder and side edges. On the pattern they are calculated at 1 cm.

Before
Knit in the same way as the back, but in a mirror image; to do this, after the bar, first cast on 84 (96) new loops with olive thread, then add 84 (96) bar loops to them.

Sleeves
Using gray thread, cast on 36 (40) stitches on needles No. 5 for each sleeve and knit with an elastic band.

After 3.5 cm = 8 rows from the bar, add 1 x 1 p. to bevel the sleeves on both sides, then in every 12th row 6 x 1 p. (in every 8th row 8 x 1 p.) acc. pattern = 50 (58) p.

After 40 cm = 92 rows from the initial row, loosely close off the sleeves on both sides for piping 1 x 4 (5) sts, then in every 2nd row loosely close off another 4 x (4) 5 sts.

After 44.5 cm = 102 rows from the initial row, loosely bind off the remaining 10 (8) sts.

Attention!
The sleeves are shown unstretched on the pattern; they have a close-fitting cut.

Assembly
Due to the diamond-shaped shape of the parts, make shoulder seams in accordance with. pattern to a length of 20 (24) cm from the beginning row, from the top to a length of 27 (31) cm, between them leave 20.5 (22) cm open for the neck (see marks on the pattern).

Using gray thread, cast on 66 (70) stitches on circular needles along the edge of the neckline, close the work into a ring, knit 1 circular row with knit stitches and 2 circular rows with purl stitches. Then bind off all the stitches like purl stitches.

Sew side seams at the beginning row on the placket and on the next 34.5 (40) cm, on the long edge of the placket and on the next 49.5 (57) cm (see marks on the pattern *).

For armholes, leave 18 (20) cm on both sides to the shoulder seam.

Sew the sleeve seams. Sew in the sleeves, pulling the closed edges of the sleeves accordingly.

At a height of 40/41/42/42/43 cm or 102/104/106/106/110 rows from the set of loops, close the middle loop for the neckline and finish each side separately. From the neckline side, decrease 1 st in every 2nd row 14/15/17/18/19 times.

After the last decrease in raglan, knit 1 row on the remaining 4/4/3/3/3 stitches, then bind off these stitches.

Before:

Knit the front and form the raglan as given in the description of the back.

Neckline:

At a height of 48/50/52/54/56 cm or 122/126/132/136/142 rows from the set of loops, bind off the middle 15/17/19/21/23 sts, finishing each side separately.

Close from the side of the neckline in every 2nd row 1 time 3 sts, 2 times 2 sts and 1 time 1 st.

After the last decrease in raglan, knit 1 row on the remaining 3 stitches, then bind off these stitches.

Sleeves:

Using 2 strands of yarn, cast on 39/41/43/45/47 sts. Knit 6 s = 16 rows with a pearl pattern.

Then switch to purl stitch and knit straight 16/14/12/10/8 next to each other. Then add 1 stitch on each side at a distance of 2 stitches from the edge in the next row, then next like this:

XS: 4 times in every 16th row.

S: 5 times in every 14th row.

M: 2 times in every 12th row, then 5 times in every 10th row.

L: 6 times in every 10th row, then 2 times in every 8th row.

XL: 8 times in every 8th row, then 3 times in every 6th row.

Raglan:

At a height of 45 cm = 114 rows from the set of loops at the beginning, close the next 2 rows with 2 sts, knit straight 2/2/0/0/0 rows, then decrease 1 st from each edge in the next row (at a distance 2 loops from the edge), then as follows:

XS: * 1 st from each edge in the next row, 1 st from each edge in the next 4 rows *, repeat from * to * 2 times, then 1 st from each edge in the next row, then 1 st from each edge 3 times in every 4th row, then knit 3 rows on the remaining 23 sts. Close the loops.

S: * 1 st from each edge in the next row, 1 st from each edge in the next 4 rows *, repeat from * to * 3 times, then 1 st from each edge in the next row, then 1 st from each edge 3 times in every 4th row, then knit 3 rows on the remaining 23 sts. Close the loops.

M:* 1 st from each edge in the next 2 rows, 1 st from each edge in the next 4 rows *, repeat from * to * 4 times, then 1 st from each edge in the next row, then knit 3 rows on the remaining 23 sts. Close the loops.

L: * 1 st from each edge in the next 2 rows, 1 st from each edge in the next 4 rows *, repeat from * to * 5 times, then knit 3 rows on the remaining 23 sts. Cast off the loops.

XL: * 1 st from each edge in the next 2 knit rows, 1 st from each edge in the next 4 rows *, repeat from * to * 2 times, then 1 st from each edge 13 times in each knit row, then knit 1 row on the remaining 23 sts. Close off the loops.

Neckline trim:

Using a double thread, cast on 147/153/159/171/177 sts. Knit 2 cm = 5 rows with a pearl pattern. Set aside the loops.

Assembly:

Close the raglan seams. Sew the neckline trim to the neckline, starting and ending in the middle of the back neckline. Close side seams and sleeve seams. Cut 2 strips of elastic and sew in the right place (see pattern and picture).

reverse stitch pullover

This pullover model is knitted using purl stitch. Considering the simplicity of the pattern, even beginners in knitting can cope with such work.

You will need:

Straight knitting needles No. 5;

- circular knitting needles No. 3 - for processing the neckline;

— half-wool yarn - Alize Lanagold (acrylic-51%, wool-49%), sectional dyeing, 4 skeins of 100 g each and a little free time.

Patterns:

purl rook - in the front rows all the loops are purl, in the purl rows all the loops are front;

elastic band 2x2 - 2 knit, 2 purl loops alternately.

purl stitch

Back: On needles No. 5, cast on 64 loops and knit with an elastic band 2x2 (2 knits, 2 purl) - 14 rows.

Switch to purl stitch (or stockinette stitch, whichever you prefer) and knit 19 rows.

In the 20th row of the purl stitch, decrease 1 loop on both sides, knitting together the first 2 and last 2 loops of the row = 62 loops.

After knitting another 11-12 rows, repeat the manipulations with decreasing loops = 60 loops.

After another 10 rows, decrease 2 stitches again - 1st stitch on both sides = 58 stitches.

After 8-9 rows, decrease again by the 1st loop on both sides = 56 loops.

At a height of 76-77 rows (from the beginning of the purl stitch), begin knitting the armholes of the sleeves. To do this, close on both sides of the product, 1 time for 2 loops, and 2 times for the 1st loop = 48 loops.

For the neck: close the middle 10 loops, and after: 1 time 5 loops and 1 time 1 loop from the center = 26 loops, 13 loops on each shoulder.

reverse stitch pullover

Pullover front knit like a back, only you need to start knitting the neckline earlier, approximately 86-87 rows from the beginning of the purl stitch.

To form a V-shaped neckline, bind off the middle 2 loops, and then in each row bind off 1 loop from the center of the product until there are 13 loops left on the knitting needles for each shoulder.

If you want a deeper neckline, start casting off stitches 10 to 12 rows earlier. When there are 36 loops left on the knitting needles, that is, 18 loops for each shoulder, decrease the loops not in each row, but 2 after 2.

Sleeves: cast on 34 loops and knit 8 rows with a 2x2 rib (knit 2, purl 2 alternately). Then go to the purl stitch (in the front rows all the loops are purl, in the purl rows all the loops are front).

After 8 rows of purl stitch, add 1 stitch on both sides = 36 stitches.

After knitting another 14 rows with purl stitch, add again 1 loop on both sides = 38 loops.

Make subsequent additions every 16 rows until you have 42 stitches on the needles. Next, knit evenly.

In rows 63 - 72, from the beginning of the purl stitch, add 1st loop at the end of each row = 52 loops.

Knit rows 73-74 evenly.

Starting from the 75th row, we close the loops to form the sleeve cap: 1 time with 3 loops on both sides, 3 times with 2 loops, 1 time with the 1st loop, 2 times with 5 loops, and bind off the remaining loops.

Assembling the pullover and processing the neck: sew the shoulder and side seams of the front and back, sew in the sleeves. Along the edge of the neckline, on circular needles No. 3, cast on 115 stitches (69 stitches on the front of the pullover and 46 stitches on the back). Distribute the cast-on loops so that the central loop V is shaped neckline was the front one, and on both sides of it knit with a 2x2 elastic band (2 purl, 2 knit). At the same time, in each row, knit 3 central loops together, so that the central loop is on top of the two side ones.

Knit 8-10 rows, and bind off all the loops in a way convenient for you. To get a more elastic edge of the elastic, you can use a little trick - when closing, knit the purl loops with purl loops, and close the front loops with the front ones.

Completing of the work

Back

On needles No. 8, cast on 42 (48) 54 loops and knit with an elastic band.

After 5 cm from the starting row, switch to needles No. 9 and continue knitting, distributing the loops as follows and adding 1 p. 1 p.: 1 chrome, 10 (12) 14 p. stockinette stitch, 21 (23) 25 p. purl stitch, 10 (12) 14 p. stockinette stitch, 1 chrome. = 43 (49) 55 p.

The areas of the front surface gradually expand towards the sides!

At 11 p.m. from the bar (= front row) knit as follows: 1 chrome, 8 (10) 12 knit, 2 knit stitches together, knit 1 purl crossed stitch from the broach, 21 (23) purl 25, 1 purl crossed stitch knit from broaches, 1 p. remove, as in knitting, 1 knit, pull the removed loop through it, 8 (10) 12 knit, 1 chrome. In every next 10th r. repeat the decreases and increases accordingly 5 more times.

Then distribute the loops as follows: 1 chrome, 4 (6) 8 stitches in stockinette stitch, 33 (35) 37 stitches in purl stitch, 4 (6) 8 stitches in stockinette stitch, 1 chrome.

After 59 (61) 63 cm from the initial row, close on both sides for shoulder bevels 3 (3) 4 p. and in each next 2 r. close on both sides another 3 x 3 p. (3 x 4 p.) 1 x 4 p. and 2 x 5 p.

After 65 (67) 69 cm from the initial row, bind off the remaining 19 sts.

Before

Start knitting like the back, but after 57 (59) 61 cm from the starting row, close off the middle 5 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately.

To round, close along the inner edge in every next 2nd row. 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p. and 2 x 1 p.

Perform shoulder bevels as on the back.

Sleeves

Using needles No. 8, cast on 24 stitches for each sleeve and knit with an elastic band.

After 5 cm from the starting row, switch to needles No. 9 and continue knitting with purl stitch, while in the 1st row. add 1 p. = 23 p.

For side bevels in every next 12th r. from the bar add 4 x 1 p. on both sides (in each next 10th row from the bar add 2 x 1 p. on both sides and then in each next 8th row another 3 x 1 p.) in each next 8th r. from the bar add 3 x 1 p. on both sides and in each next 6 p. add another 3 x 1 p. = 31 (33) 35 p.

After 45 (42) 40 cm from the initial row, close the sleeves for piping on both sides 3 p. and in each next 2 p. close off another 5 x 2 sts on both sides.

After 53 (50) 48 cm from the initial row, close off the remaining 5 (7) 9 sts.

Assembly

Lightly moisten the parts, stretch them according to the dimensions indicated in the pattern and leave until completely dry.

Mattress seam sew shoulder seams.

On both sides of shoulder seams along the side edges of the front and back, measure down 18 (19) 21 cm and put marks. Sew the sleeves between these marks, stretching the sleeve cap slightly so that it “fits” evenly into the armhole.

Use a mattress stitch to sew the side seams and sleeve seams.

For the neckline, cast on needles No. 9 along the edge, evenly distributing, 48 stitches and knit in circular rows. After 22 cm, close the loops. Turn the collar right side out.
