ID of Barenziah stone in Skyrim. Where to find Barenziah stones in Skyrim. What it is

Anyone familiar with the series role playing games The Elder Scrolls, is aware that in these projects there is always a huge number of different quests that you can complete. These can be both story quests and guild tasks, as well as side assignments that you can completely ignore. If we talk specifically about the fifth part, which is called “Skyrim,” then one quest deserves special attention here. He invites you to find all the Barenziah stones, which together will give incredible power. But how to do that? And what is the essence of this task? Where to look for Barenziah's stones? You will read about all this further.

A little background

The greatest queen of Mournhold once wore the crown of Barenziah, which became a legendary item. It was decorated with Barenziah stones, of which there were 24 pieces. However, at one far from pleasant moment, these stones were taken out of the crown, and gradually they dispersed throughout the world of Skyrim. There is a legend that if you collect all the stones together and insert them back into the crown, where they were previously, it will give the wearer incredible power. Together they can awaken the ancient magic that everyone desires. Therefore, you have to find all the stones of Barenziah, and you can start doing this even before you take on the corresponding quest. If you find Barenziah's stone before the quest, you can pick it up. But at the same time it will appear in your inventory as unknown. However, as soon as the quest is received, you will immediately find out what kind of stone is in your inventory.

Quest to find stones

The Stones of Barenziah are the object of the quest "Look Under Every Stone", which sounds quite symbolic. You will have to truly look into every corner of the vast world of Skyrim to achieve your goal. To take this quest, you need to find at least one of these stones, and also join the Thieves Guild, since that is where the character who can give you this task is located. Once all the conditions are met, you will have access to this quest and you can safely explore the world of Skyrim. Barenziah's stones will be in various caves and treasuries, and in the possession of all kinds of important characters, so you'll have to try hard to collect all twenty-four pieces.

First stones

You can find the very first stone in the Ansilvund location, between two sarcophagi in the Burial Halls - this is where your completion of this task in Skyrim will begin. Barenziah's Stones can sometimes be quite difficult to find, so you will always need to carefully examine the various secret places and locations. You will find the next stone in Winterhold in the archmage's chambers. Another Barenziah stone can be found in the Dragon's Reach location in one of the jarl's rooms. If you find yourself in the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun, then you will need to look into the catacombs - that’s where what you were looking for will be. The next stone will be found in the living quarters of Jorrvaskr. In Windhelm there is a clan home called the Shattered Shield - this is where another stone is located that you will need to obtain the power of the crown. By the way, there is another stone in Windhelm - you can find it on the top floor of the Royal Palace. Well, if you are carried into the Smoking Cave, then there you can find the corpse of a necromancer, and next to it the desired item. Now you already have eight of them, but where can you find the Barenziah stones that you don’t already have? You will have to go on a further journey.

Even more stones

Are you still wondering where the Barenziah stones are in Skyrim? Then go to Ingvild, find the royal palace, and in it the throne room, and your stone will be there. You can also find the required item in Fellglow Fortress; it is located in the alchemy laboratory. To find the next Barnesia stone, you will have to go to Markarth, go to the Understone Fortress and find the Dwemer Museum in it - there you will find what you need. But do not rush to leave Markarth, as there is another stone that you have to find - it is located in the Treasury. The next location that should interest you is the Rannveig Abode, there you need to go into the room with the cells, and the next stone you need will be on the table. Remember the alchemy laboratory at Fellglow Keep? You'll need to find another one in a cave called Stone Brook, as that's where the next quest item is located. Also, the Barnesia stone is in another cave called Khoba - surprisingly, again in an alchemical laboratory. And one more location with the item you need - there you need to find the captain’s chest, and the next stone will lie on the table next to it.

Remaining stones

Unfortunately, Barenziah's stones are not displayed on the map - that would be too simple. But, following this guide, you have already found sixteen stones. Only eight left. First, go to Falkreath Castle, next to it will be the Divided Gorge, where you will find the stone. Then you will need to get to Riften, to the Mistveil fortress. There, make your way into the jarl's chambers and take your trophy. On your way out of Riften, you should also look into the Black Briar residence and go to the top floor. After this, your goal is Solitude, and more specifically, the Blue Palace, where Barenziah's next stone will be. There is also the High Spire - an estate that you can purchase, but it is more important to pick up the quest item from there. There are only three stones left - on the Old Lady's Rock, in the Pine Outpost and in the Vault of the Dark Brotherhood. That's all twenty-four stones. What will be next?

Quest reward

After finding all the stones, you will also need to find the crown itself, but what do you get in the end? The result of all your work is a rather useful skill - thieves' luck. It is passive, but it greatly increases the chance of finding gems in any drop or chest. The skill sometimes reaches the point that in almost every chest you can find a certain amount various stones, which will undoubtedly be useful for you in the game.

Once, while wandering around Skyrim, Dovahkiin met an unusual faceted ruby hovering above a golden box. Well, why not take one? I took it.

And then the troubles began. First of all, the stone cannot be sold! And who can tell you how much it costs? Secondly, it cannot be thrown away - quite a lot is clearly associated with it. interesting story. Nothing to do. You'll have to complete the quest.

First of all, Dovahkiin went to the appraiser. But it’s a shame, who will tell the truth to a stranger? If you want information, earn trust. This is how Dovahkiin ended up in the thieves guild. My son prefers children's electric cars. And this also makes sense, at least it won’t spoil the eyes behind the monitor...

In Riften, in a rat-infested eatery where a decent person would not only be ashamed to enter, but also problematic, with his mouth open, he listened to a story that had long since become a legend: “Once upon a time there was a terribly successful thief. And he was so skilled that managed to steal the crown of the Queen of Morrowind: Barenziah herself. But since you can’t just sell such loot, he picked out all the stones from the crown, and drove them one by one, so they walk around the world. But I won’t buy it from you - I won’t. It’s a hot commodity these days. If you collect all 24, then we’ll talk. But if not, keep it for yourself, for good luck..."
24? Where can I get so much? The Dovahkiin spat on this matter, threw a pebble into his backpack, and went his way...

The Dragonborn trampled a lot of Skyrim roads, killed a lot of dragons, people and all kinds of animals, but by some miracle he collected all 12 kilograms of cargo, of dubious value (do not throw away the boxes, besides, all the owners somehow unanimously made absolutely identical packaging for their trinkets).

And so, returning to the thieves guild, with a satisfied smile on all 24 remaining teeth, he laid out all this stuff on the table in front of Vex. She, surprised by such a collection, said: “I didn’t think that you would go so far, but since all the stones are here, it’s time for you to find out about the last part of the set: the crown, oddly enough, the thief did not saw off, but drove in entirely. And this The crown, if my sources are correct, now lies somewhere in the depths of Torvald’s cave, to the north from here. And this crown is also classified as a thieves’ paragon: once collected, it will significantly enhance our thieves’ abilities...”

“So, that is, they won’t pay me for the stones anyway,” thought Dovahkiin. The smile quickly faded, and he went into the cave. As it turned out, the crown was carried by a caravan of refugees from Morrowind. They exchanged a glass dagger for a map underground passage, which turned out to be littered, and spiders, trolls and Falmers settled in the cave. Having waved goodbye to the silent ghosts, and no less silent, but fresh corpses, Dovahkiin, with the crown, returned to the thieves. They quickly collected the crown and placed it on a pedestal, which they dragged from nowhere. We could only hope that it wasn’t from the temple... “Hey, what about the money?!” - Dovahkiin was indignant, but no one answered him. What money, bringing a crown is already an honor!

That's all. Now a couple of details. The only reward for this dreary quest is the unique effect "Thieves' Luck", which will increase the chance of jewelry appearing in chests (as if there weren't enough of them before). And this despite the fact that the price for the stones is 200 coins, and the crown is made of pure gold. Anyway.

As you adventure through the world of Skyrim, you may come across a mysterious stone that appears to be a floating red gem in an open golden box. After which you will be sent to Riften to look for someone who can appreciate this thing.

When entering the city you will meet Maul, who will tell you that to solve this mystery you will have to join the thieves guild. And he will be right, in their lair - the Ragged Flagon tavern - you need to talk to Vex about this mysterious stone.

She will tell us that these stones are part of Barenziah's crown, which have value if you put them all together. There are 24 Barenziah Stones in total, and they are scattered throughout Skyrim. After which we will receive the quest “Look Under Every Stone” (No Stone Unturned) to find them.

Most of them can be found by completing side quests for the Thieves Guild, but in order not to waste time, here is a list of Barenziah's stones.

After completing the quest, getting there is also difficult; the easiest way is to use console command coc ThalmorEmbassy01.

After mining all the stones, Vex will ask you to find Barenziah's crown itself. To do this, we will have to go to Tolvald's Cave, which is located north of Riften. A rather dangerous place, infested with Falmer, so be better prepared.

After returning the crown, you will receive a unique effect that will increase the chance of finding gems in all chests.

Good luck searching!
