The Vladimir-based designer presented his Russian-style collection in San Francisco. Furs and gems: a luxurious collection of clothes by a Vladimir designer

Love for "non-Soviet" clothing

It all started from childhood, - says Andrey. - My mother was a person with good taste and instilled in me a love for high-quality “non-Soviet” clothing. By the nature of her activity, she worked abroad for many years and brought very interesting things that favorably differ from Soviet consumer goods. We knew tailors who sewed things of incredible beauty from fabrics brought by my mother. Probably, this, to some extent, became the foundation that was laid in my further design career. True, he slept for a long time, waited in the wings, but then, multiplied by life experience, he shot.

I remember one day my mother brought a chameleon raincoat. Then this fabric seemed extra-fashionable to me, and I sewed an amazingly beautiful windbreaker from it. All my friends then tortured me, begging her to go to dances in order to delight their girlfriends, who had never seen such designer things before. I also remember how I came to visit my mother from Moscow, where I served in the army, and saw curtains with palm trees in her bathroom. They seemed so cool to me that I sewed Bermuda shorts and a shirt from this fabric. It turned out great, but, to be honest, in Kovrov at the end of the 80s they did not understand this fashion, and for Moscow at that time such things were at the peak of popularity - in trend (laughs - approx. Corr.)!

Then there was perestroika and the flourishing of the deficit. It was almost impossible to get anything decent. Then there was a long break - I was growing up, doing business, starting a family, traveling. From my trips I made many interesting observations that helped me to look at fashion as a national phenomenon. Each country has its own distinctive features, which are formed by the traditions and way of life of the people living there. I didn't sew as much as I used to. Only sometimes - he altered buttons for more suitable ones or made some correct, but unusual cuffs on his formal suit.

Everything changed at the age of 40, when I started working as the director of the "Exhibition Center" in the city of Vladimir and I had to regularly hold solemn events - opening exhibitions, presentations of various projects. Then I realized that I didn't want to look like everyone else, but I wanted to have my own corporate identity. Just don't get me wrong: I did not shock in the manner of Sergei Zverev, but my clothes created a festive mood - I looked bright and elegant at the same time. To do this, I had to find tailors who could carry out my design ideas, and at the same time give one hundred percent quality in their work. The latter for me has always been the most important condition for working with people who created for me with their own hands, I'm not afraid of this word, masterpieces.

High mark

I have always been a person who doubts and delves into myself. I needed a specialist's assessment, - continues Andrey Pereskokov. - I made an appointment with the fashion designer Marta Kamenskaya, who has been sheathe Russian pop and opera stars for many years. Mstislav Rostropovich and Galina Vishnevskaya were frequent guests in her workshop on the Arbat. Martha promised to give me 20 minutes, but we ended up talking for 2 hours. I received from this amazing woman both valuable advice and a high assessment of my work, and a lot of inspiration for new works.

It was 5 years ago. Today I'm different. A more mature and hardened comrade. It is difficult to take me out of the creative balance with some negative moments about the clothes that I create. But to be honest and without coquetry, there were probably no such moments. People come to me who know for sure that with me they will be able to find what is close to them and what their soul responds to.

Marta Kamenskaya once told me: “You are a happy person, because you sew from expensive materials. You don't sew, you create. " I totally agree with this. Every thing that appears to me is like a child.

For several years now I have been a member of the examination committee of the Ivanovo State Political University. It is a great honor and a great responsibility for me.

Last year, the honorary chairman of the commission was Aleksandr Vasiliev, host of the Fashionable Sentence program. One of the graduates presented a white collection, and he criticized it very strongly, saying that in our Russian conditions nobody wears white, but this is his personal opinion. I see that many Russian and foreign designers are actively and fruitfully working with him. I was also interested in the collection of a student who spent a year in the Lenin Library in Moscow and made a collection of Scythian costumes. And it was an amazing combination of scientific approach and creativity ... I think five from me, a member of the Union of Designers of Russia, was the best recognition of her enormous talent.

How the people of Vladimir surprised Nice

Today's fashion constantly draws on old traditions. Everything new is well forgotten old, - says Andrey. - Velvet, natural silk, lace are in fashion again. I really like to use these materials in my works.

Today I am sad that fashion is developing poorly in the Vladimir region. There are few enthusiasts who want to promote their fashion product to other regions and abroad. Yes, first of all, this requires a lot of money. But believe me, the return will be many times greater. There are still no designers who want to work in an ethno-chic style. This is the main direction for me. To put on new forms long-forgotten old, to give a modern gloss using new technologies is cool. The foreign and domestic markets are oversaturated with things of the same type, only a new look that does not depend on fashion trends and other nonsense imposed on us by the monsters of the fashion industry can make us leaders and pay attention to what we offer. Unfortunately, now people who have money acquire vulgar fakes with flashy labels, wear things "without character." Often you have to watch the running for labels, cheap show-off and a complete lack of feeling. Although, in fairness, it should be noted that in Moscow today, trends are more advanced in the area of \u200b\u200bwhat should be worn by people who have money. They turn to personalized attention to their wardrobe. Almost all things should be created on an individual order in a single copy. Well, we will wait for these waves to approach our native shores. In the meantime, to the best of our modest capabilities, we ourselves are breaking through to foreign and Russian sites. Often visiting my wife Elena abroad, I pay attention to how European fashionistas cast envious glances at the cut and embroidery of my suits. Complimenting originality by asking who the designer is and where it can be purchased. A couple of years ago we got married in Nice. The choice of country and place was not accidental, but it is too personal and this is not what we are talking about now. Lena was in a chic white dress made of the finest Brussels lace, over which a beautiful handmade silk shawl was draped, and I was wearing a suit that referred us to the rule of princes in Russia. Local residents and tourists literally opened a photo shoot on us - they all asked to be photographed. Believe me, Nice is difficult to surprise, but I did it.

Creating beauty isn't cheap

Today I work with four, perhaps, the coolest dressmakers in Vladimir, - Andrey Pereskokov shares his secrets. - And each of them has its own specialization - someone sews fur well, someone embroiders and embroiders with beads. It is not cheap to create beauty, but such things will always be relevant. And over the years, they can also rise in price, like a good aged wine.

I have a lot of artist friends for whom I created something. I can name Lyudmila Artemyeva and Arina Sharapova, I will not name the others due to the fact that they do not always want to advertise what they buy and from whom. I can only say that among them there are spouses of high-ranking politicians, Russian and foreign, and, of course, local famous citizens.

Show to show

I am the holder of a diploma from Slava Zaitsev for the best men's collection. We took this award in the Ethno-Chic category at the rather prestigious Gubernsky Style festival in Voronezh.

It was like this: I took five of my costumes and went to the festival. There I was horrified by the number of participants. The event was attended by 120 designers. Immediately difficulties arose with male models, how to equip them. We still remember how an hour before the show I ran to the store to buy leatherette shoes for 600 rubles per pair, because they were size 45, and we brought 40 size shoes. But the guys tried to get into character, and we succeeded. It was euphoria when they announced our victory.

Perhaps this result inspired me to try myself on European venues. I represented Russia as the only visiting fashion designer at the international student forum in Bulgaria. It turned out super. At the request of the organizers, I even gave a master class there. Today we were invited to participate in fashion shows in France with the theme of national peculiarities in a suit, which, in fact, I have been doing for a long time, we are invited to England. There is a very high level of the jury and the requirements for the presented models of clothes, but this also spurs the desire to gain recognition there.

Five years ago, I saw the goal of my work in creating in Vladimir a House of Designers to replace the lost Model House at Vspolye. I would like there to be some kind of professional union where “old people” could exchange experience, and for young people it would be a creative base, a fashionable place where they would come for inspiration. But today I said goodbye to this idea, I have enough of my own affairs. In my opinion, fashion is a soft power with which one can easily communicate with foreign partners under the sanctions.

Although, to be honest, the hope that some strong business will want to invest money in this business remains. And the point here is not my personal benefit or the benefit of any particular designer. The Vladimir region can, through such projects, declare its cultural traditions, become a center of fashion attraction. For example, Italian Milan is also not a capital, but the whole world knows and goes there to dress, leaving billions of euros. So why don't we turn Vladimir into the center of traditional Russian fashion, showing the whole world the beauty of Russian costume and Russian soul?

We had been preparing for this meeting for almost 2 months, waiting for Andrey Andreyevich to have photographs from his new project ready. And over a cup of coffee, we got a frank conversation on a topical topic - the attitude towards art in modern society.

- Andrey, thank you for your time! Of course, our main goal is to learn about your new project ... However, we propose to make the theme of art in modern times and a person in art as the main thread of our conversation. What problems do you think exist and what are the prospects for the future?

- The main problem, in my opinion, is the lack of due attention on the part of the state to real art and those people who preserve and create it. Now many talented people cannot afford to do art, because this always requires really good money or the support of the authorities.

For two years in a row I have been invited to the final exams at the Ivanovo Technological Academy, which is a source of personnel for the modeling business. There are a lot of talented guys there! All these young designers have the same problem: there is no money - they smoke tobacco. You can, of course, argue for a long time that talent will make its way, but all their wonderful collections sometimes look deplorable simply due to the fact that there is no finance.

Another example: the daughter of Ramzan Kadyrov, who made a very interesting collection. The show was attended by all Russian stars, and not only Russian ones ... The collection immediately shows - really beautiful things, expensive. Luxurious fabrics, a lot of rhinestones, stones, hand embroidery. I don't know who really made the collection, to which the leading stars of the fashion business come ... A mystery covered in darkness. But, of course, they created a very beautiful collection - I watched and enjoyed it.

- That is, no matter how talented you are, even Van Gogh himself, if you don't have canvas and paints, then your talent will not be realized and in demand?

- Yes! I think you can beat with a stick someone who says: “ You first make money on this canvas and paint". The problem is that life has become very expensive. You can whistle as much as you like about the cost of living, but you still need to feed your family, children, plus now you have to pay an incredible amount of taxes. I understand perfectly why so many people are fleeing from here now. Very sorry! Talent should not be scattered, a talented person is born one in ten thousand. The fact that they are trying to go where it will be better for them is a big problem.

- You haven’t gone anywhere, so there is hope?

- I was lucky, thank God, it took place. But it's still not easy. Here's an example. I was recently in Moscow, where I made a very interesting show at the Komi office before the government of the Russian Federation ...

They asked me where I was from, I said - from the Vladimir region. Everyone admired - how great! I have luxury clothes - natural furs, semi-precious stones, expensive fabric. I create this picture and I think that the region and the city have the right to be proud of this, because people are interested in where such beauty is created? Of course, it is not only created by me: I have tailors who bring my ideas to life. These people are amazingly talented, if not for them, then it would be impossible to do all the work. Such people should be carried in your arms.

Andrey Pereskokov in art, I have no retail outlets. I create beauty because I am interested in it myself. What we are showing now is interesting in Bulgaria - a year ago I represented our country, it was very pleasant when I was invited by one from Russia (20 European countries participated there). Now the French are interested in this ... For some reason I began to notice that various cultural projects are in greater demand there than here.

- I won't be mistaken if I say that you are not only engaged in clothing design. When you worked at the exhibition center, there were many other projects. Remind about them?

- Over the past 5 years I have done many projects in the city, if you do not take into account fashion. These are Blockade Windows; projects dedicated to the Romanov family: 400 years of the Romanov family; projects related to the Serbian Embassy. Great programs! Many of these projects were created at the expense of my resource. And so that you understand, Pereskokov does not stick out his ego, it’s just disappointment ... you set a vector, thoughtful, competent, interesting and not vulgar, but there is no support. And here you see another example. I have nothing against contemporary art, but when they show (literally not so long ago this event was, I will not name it, everyone will understand) a guy hanging on hooks, and everyone walks with smart faces, admire this: “Wow, what new contemporary art! " It died 25 years ago! It was in Moscow in the 90s, when I served in the army. Now they have brought it here and they say that it is contemporary art. It went and went wrong! For this there are sadomasochistic clubs and brothels. But showing it on an official level is inappropriate and stupid. I believe that there is no need to repeat someone's bad experience.

- Where do you get your inspiration from? After all, the Vladimir-Suzdal land is the center of Orthodoxy, a cathedral was brought here from Kiev, kings were crowned here.

- Probably, I will not dissemble, I draw inspiration from the people around me who are pleasant to me, to whom I want to prove something, show, surprise with something. It is always some kind of inner world that is very close to me. I don't know how this can be connected with the theme of religion, but what is given from above by some higher forces is talent, opportunities and some kind of realization. I just started the conversation with how difficult it is to break through now. Yes, of course, I do not work up to the seventh sweat, but I managed to make my little world quite prosperous and wealthy. And I can afford to be creative. I think that all this is given from above. I am engaged in fashion now, I was engaged in business then - everything works out and works out. Given different directions, only open the doors.

Probably, a person's faith in God or in some higher powers is of great importance. You need faith that everything will be fine, that someone helps spiritually ... Probably, the fact that this is the center of Orthodoxy really affects me.

- We have a lot of young readers; it is necessary to declare - who is Andrey Pereskokov?

- What do you think? I'm curious.

- Designer, artist. A person who inspires others. It was a revelation for me that we have such people in our city and region. For example, you are not afraid to study at the university at that age. By the way, how is your training going?

- Now is the last year of graduate school, the fourth. I am writing scientific articles and a thesis. At the moment, I am 48 years old, and I am finishing my postgraduate studies at Moscow State University, Faculty of Art, because I believe that professionalism is needed in everything. I went there insofar as I headed the exhibition center and understood perfectly well that I did not have enough knowledge and some meetings with interesting people.

So I am a versatile comrade. Besides being a talented designer, no one has canceled being the head of the family. I am interested in a variety of directions and details of history, so, for the last six months, I began to learn that the Vladimir land is primordially famous for the production of tiles. It was believed that this art appeared in Russia thanks to Peter.

In the glorious city of Vladimir, it turns out, there were six largest tile factories! I had an idea to make a tile museum here, but no one responded to this for various reasons. I very much regret that we do not have a well-thought-out policy of creating private museums, because now tourism is developing at a rather powerful pace. I do not know, maybe there will be more talented and advanced guys who, in the end, will take on this burden and create something for the city ...

- You said correctly: the field is not plowed. We have unique artisans, even that very Suzdal has not revealed its potential by 50%. It seems to me that here we need patrons who would be interested in this. How do you think?

- You mean, patrons are needed in order to support the financial side of the issue? No, I disagree. There are a huge number of people who collect interesting things.

The main thing is that everything does not reach the point of absurdity, everything must be very thought out. The question is such that the city needs to create sites where all this could be displayed. Money is not always needed. We need the will of the political authorities of this city, which will say: “We have 30 sites where we are ready to create museums. Let's gather experts, 30 or 50 people who want to create a museum. " Some of them have very interesting collections, and by popular vote we could choose what the city needs. You can make a tile museum, a chain mail museum or a pharmacy museum - this is what is close to the city.

There were Kuznetsov's icons - nobody cares, so the project was covered with a copper basin. When some objects evaporate, new ones do not appear in return. An exhibition of besieged Leningrad could be very interesting. Even Poltavchenko, a person who cannot be surprised, from St. Petersburg, said that he was surprised that something like this could be in our region. It could remain an excellent object of patriotic education! Around this could be made a museum of the Great Patriotic War.

We need people who understand that they are losing objects. When some acquaintances come to us, they usually ask what to see. After the central part of the city, you can visit the Borodin smithy, and then?

- Now let's move on to your activities. We have already mentioned the exhibition center, where you worked wonderfully and fruitfully, do you now occupy a different position?

- Now I am a freelance artist. I left the exhibition center.

- A month ago we talked to you: you are preparing some wonderful collection. What is this project?

- The project is dedicated to Russia, which we lost after the 17th year. I wanted to show this gap, when people lost everything, but still remained people. I decided to embody all this in a suit: it turned out very cool! Just the other day this project, or rather a part of it, was presented at the Komi office under the government of the Russian Federation. There were many VIP guests, there was a youth party.

By the way, it was interesting for me to see how young people react to the costume of that time. When there were furs, luxury ... The guys well-known in our city, Sergei Sazhin and Alena Markelova, who participated in this project of mine and presented the costumes, will not let them lie, the silence was deathly! Then they clapped for a long time.

There was a clear understanding that if there is an audience of about 30 and more, then everything will go off with a bang, but it is difficult to silence young guys. This means that it is in demand. And I am proud that we did it. These are the things that I'm interested in creating, because when people look at you with huge eyes, you read respect for what you have done.

You know, I have never aimed to make a lot of money. At the same time, I could sew the same young guys some clothes that are in fashion now. However, I have a different perception of beauty. Yes, this, of course, does not always coincide with what is needed now, but on the other hand, when they saw what we showed, for me, probably, their reaction was cause for pride.

- Andrey, you mentioned French interest. What kind of work will it be and why is it interesting?

- ABOUT! This is a very interesting project. It is proposed to trace the chain of people who received everything after 1917, who from the lower classes fell to power. Do they want to make a ruler like this? and we were offered participation. Probably, we will find some names and surnames, make exhibits and talk about how the old world collapsed and how the new one was built.

Now we will discuss terms and conditions with the French. Most likely, it will be in the summer, we want to provide models there.

When you said that there should be sponsors, in this case it would be ideal. I cannot create all models for my own money. Real furs, semi-precious stones, expensive fabrics - all these are big investments. I would like to find people who are not indifferent to this activity. I am ready to share fame or anything else with any sane person who also wants to do something interesting, who also wants to be involved.

- What do you expect from your job? You yourself admitted that money is not happiness and you do not strive for it.

- I need to be told: "You are exclusive, you are interesting, this is not like everyone else!" In Bulgaria, at the end of the event, the organizers asked us to do master classes (we were not warned about them). Everything worked out, although I never did it. When the organizers asked to leave the outfits on the central stage, those young guys rushed to take pictures! I believe that this is one of the confessions of my work. I would like to create so that people can enjoy it. For it to evoke emotions in someone, to inspire. Then it really is creativity.

- Do you think there is such a mixture of elite and mass now? Because of this, many problems arise in the fashion world. Even famous brands like Chanel, which are now looking for something ...

- Rollback to more massive? To a not entirely successful mixture - yes, I do. Everyone needs money, even Chanel.

- And in the same mass production, prices are now rising so much, although the quality does not increase. And people are now trying to get closer to the ideal, completely not complying with it.

- I agree. Yes, brands are trying, unfortunately, to roll back from the highly artistic and interesting, in something once great. But real masters still periodically give out some interesting collections.

Of course, it is easier to make a line for 40-50 thousand, which will fly away instantly, but, again, we are talking about those who can afford it. And if you create shirts for 3-7 thousand, they will fly away even faster. It is clear that now everyone has money in the first place. To do only art is too expensive a pleasure, therefore collections become not so interesting and expensive to perform, in fabrics, in joining, in some elements - everything is simplified, unfortunately. I don’t know what will happen next. Although from time to time you can catch something really interesting and beautiful.

If we go back to the line that Kadyrov's daughter made, really beautiful things are expensive. The woman in this fabric looks very beautiful. In the pre-revolutionary past, when a woman was rather closed, it was beautiful, for a man she remained a mystery. Not like we have now. A woman is also a woman that you desire, but she remains an object that is inaccessible to you.

Several years ago, when I was in New York, I found myself in a very interesting vintage clothing store. Usually, after 50-80 years, the clothes still look a little shabby, even if not worn. Everything is there in perfect quality! There are such incomparable things! I have not seen such anywhere in our country. It is impossible to buy some things from us before the 17th year, so that they are in excellent condition, so that there are beautiful laces, preserved and well restored - at least I have not seen this.

Now, unfortunately, everything is primitive - two inflows, three flops. Maybe many of the problems people have from this? The real is gone - the fakes are full. I am in favor of not being fake - neither in art nor in life.

- Remember from history, somewhere in the early 19th century, everything was produced by artisans. And then factories began to appear, labor began to be mechanized, something made not by hand, but by a machine became fashionable. And now we are leaving, on the contrary, to the artisans. But not in such a mass character.

- Maybe yes. I believe that it is truly a great happiness when we can be an individual in the world. The soul leaves, and this is very bad. When some copies appear in apartments, cheap paintings, which are stamped in the amount of 10,000 pieces, are wrong. You buy something alive and not necessarily expensive (points to the picture on the wall). Here we look at things, they are close to me, because certain people wrote them, but they are alive, real. This is not a reproduction. I have nothing against reproduction, but when I look at collectibles, I understand - the soul.

This is the question - what inspires you? It all inspires me: I can afford to be among the things that are made in a single copy, which have their own history. I'm in my own shell, and all the nonsense around me does not concern me. During this year, while I am not working, I have very clearly understood that freedom is much more expensive than when we strive somewhere. Life is so short. When I had the opportunity to not work in any organizations until I was 40, I was much happier.

I would like to tell the readers: if some door is closed for you, no need to knock there, no need. There are lots of doors nearby.

Vladimir was offered to present his outfits in San Francisco at the opening of an intellectual casino six months ago, having noticed his creations on social networks. He became the only designer from Russia to show his models at the event.

There were many difficulties - my poor knowledge of the language, difficulties in obtaining a visa. Some things for the show were completed literally at the last moment. I was asked to sew a Firebird dress for a performance by the director of a ballet school in San Francisco, and for the first time I did a costume without seeing a person, without a single fitting and, of course, worried. Then, during the transfer in Paris, three suitcases with furs were lost. But in the end, everything worked out: the suitcases were found, the Firebird's dress was pleasant and fit, - the designer tells about his trip.

Razgildiai town

Andrei Pereskokov admits that he was surprised by the prices in California. In terms of our money, potatoes cost six hundred rubles per kilogram, jeans for my daughter - almost twenty thousand.

A luxurious apartment with panoramic windows, which I was provided, cost two hundred thousand a week, a bottle of water - one and a half - two thousand. You see such prices and you immediately understand that you don't really want to drink, - he admits. - By the way, I never figured out how the TV turns on in my apartment - the remote control system has remained a mystery to me. Surprisingly, there are very intrusive homeless people, they must be given money, otherwise they will run after you, demanding it. But in general, San Francisco is a sloven city in a good way.

Andrey Pereskokov was also impressed by the atmosphere of the intellectual casino, to the opening of which our experts, Inna Druz and Boris Burda, also came.

They also place bets, and excitement appears. My show is about to begin, the organizer writes to me: “Andrey, hurry backstage!” - but I can't tear myself away and wait for the correct answer to the question among the four hundred people who came to the game, - the designer recalls.

Seventy meters of beads

An even greater surprise for the Vladimir master was the interest of Americans in his collection, made of luxurious furs, velvet, brocade, decorated with hand embroidery and embroidered with beads and stones. The world famous cellist Jan Maksin, who worked with Rostropovich, saw his collection of men's jackets and wanted to buy them and performed in one at a concert. Many outfits also found their owners overseas immediately after the show, and he was even sorry to part with a silver fox fur coat with beads and black velvet.

I honestly did not expect a lot of excitement around my work, but the show was a great success. Americans value manual labor, and I was surprised to find that my work abroad is more in demand. Even famous models participating in the Armani and Versace shows admitted that they felt like queens in my outfits. But wearing them is hard even physically. For example, seventy meters of beads went to the costume of the hostess of the cultural capital of the world in football, which I was creating on the eve of the championship, it was required to make 150 meters of cord, tied with author's knots and it weighs twenty-five kilograms. Now I have several interesting job offers abroad, in November they invite me to a gondola show in Venice, I have ideas for creating a Russian-style theater, - says Andrey. - I hope that everything will work out and the projects will be implemented.

By the way, many Russian stars have the creations of the Vladimir designer. His shawls are worn with pleasure by Nadezhda Babkina, Arina Sharapova, Lyudmila Artemyeva, and recently his brooch was in the collection of FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samura, who has already worn jewelry for several events.

The question of the implementation of international relations by the mayor's office of Vladimir has finally been resolved. Former director of the Municipal Exhibition Center Andrey Pereskokov will build relationships with foreign partners.

Recall that one of the first decisions of the new mayor / chairman of the city council Olga Deeva was the refusal of representative functions at the international level.

An initiative to curtail the opposition minority's own powers at a meeting of the Council of People's Deputies. However, the question is through a public hearing on the amendment to the Charter of the city of Vladimir.

Despite the fact that the decision to amend the Charter was made on November 20, the staff of the International and Regional Relations Department of the Council of People's Deputies of the city of Vladimir received notifications of the reduction on October 8, 2015, - Anna Makarova, ex-head of the International Department, told Zebra TV.

At present, all the employees of the disbanded structure of the City Council, who know two foreign languages, are out of work. According to Makarova, she herself was not offered any job at the mayor's office. And the employees of her international department were invited to work in the administration in the department of culture under the supervision of Alina Vedekhina, but they refused such an offer.

Makarova said that the disbanded international structure of the City Council maintained relations with more than 20 partner cities. The most "lively" was the contact with the German cities of Erlangen and Jena.

The official representative of the Vladimir city administration, Alexander Karpilovich, confirmed to Zebra TV that Andrey Pereskokov was appointed responsible for the international relations of the Orange House. However, the mayor's office of Vladimir could not answer the questions about the competence of the new leader, his experience in this profile and the number of subordinates during the working day.

Karpilovich only explained that the new structure of the administration of the city of Vladimir will be subordinate to the Department of Culture and Tourism, headed by Alina Vedekhina.

Zebra TV contacted Andrey Pereskokov, who confirmed that from December 22 he was appointed head of the international relations department of the Vladimir city administration.

Pereskokov could not answer the question of how many people will be in his subordination. He explained that more accurate information on this matter will appear approximately next Friday.

Andrey Pereskokov spoke about his experience in the field of international relations:

« I had some work with the Serbian Embassy in the Russian Federation - we did several projects with them dedicated to the First World War. I have very good relations with the Israeli Embassy in the Russian Federation. I have a certificate of honor from them for doing a very serious project "The Holocaust is a crime against humanity." There are also relations with the Bulgarian side - I have been there many times and have repeatedly participated in cultural events. We also did a big project with the Germans in the First World War. Therefore, for me this work is not new at all - I understand with whom to communicate. And my last project "Siege Windows of Leningrad" supported the project "Russian World", which has more than 120 offices in different countries of the world. There are options for working with them on foreign sites. That is, this work is nothing new for me. I am not going to do space development, in which I do not understand anything. But this work is close to me».

When asked if he knows foreign languages, Andrei Pereskokov replied that he had an English special school behind him.

The new head of the international department of the Vladimir city administration noted that he is a graduate student of the Faculty of Arts of Moscow State University. Lomonosov. In addition, he has two higher educations under his belt: the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics and the Vladimir Institute of Business.
