Pregnancy

In most cases, pregnancy proceeds normally. And behave during pregnancy should be normal. And remember that, although our medicine is free, it is not the doctor who is responsible for the health of a particular person, but the specific person himself. And do not fool yourself, looking for disease. The vast majority of the difficulties you create yourself, nervous and worrying in vain.

Childbirth

The sooner the newborn is put to the breast, the better (optimally - right in the delivery room) - this fact has been convincingly proved by physiologists and doctors. Firstly, the very irritation of the nipple during sucking helps to reduce the uterus, which, immediately after birth, is very important. Secondly, the first drops of milk - colostrum - contain substances that "trigger" the development of the immune system and normal digestion, preventing the occurrence of allergic reactions and intestinal disorders in the future.

Newborn

The main and completely unique distinguishing feature of a newborn is its ability to adapt to environmental conditions. As already explained, the child you brought from the hospital is very slightly different in its ability to defend its right to life from the exact same baby who was born somewhere in the cave many, many centuries ago. Children are still safely born in yurts, plagues and wigwams (deserts, jungles, mountains, taiga, tundra, etc.).

The optimum temperature of the children's room is 18-19 ° C.

The higher the worse. But for life - both yours and yours - you need to remember the most important rule that allows you to make the right decision in case of doubt:

IT IS BETTER TO REHEAT THAN OVERHEAT

Only this way and not otherwise, because it is impossible, in no case should we forget that overheating of a child is not less, but, as a rule, much more dangerous than hypothermia!

From the moment you return from the hospital, do not pay attention to whether the door to the room where the child is located is open or closed. It does not matter, from the point of view of his health, where the bed is located and whether air enters it from the ajar window. For a five-year-old child, already spoiled by the desire to protect him, he has. But for a newborn - no.

Diapers

Remember: even if, for some reason, ordinary gauze diapers are better than diapers, then this can only be true for the baby. In relation to those who care for the child, this is clearly and categorically wrong. Small inconveniences caused to the child will have less impact on the health of the family compared to the many hours that his parents spend washing and ironing.

In relation to diapers, there are only two really existing problems - the price and the ability to use them.

How to sleep?

Optimal - on the stomach or on the side. The head is turned to the side, and this side must be changed every time. Some children sleep best in the middle position - between on the side and on the stomach - with a diaper folded under the barrel and folded several times.

Children, especially the first six months of life, are prone to regurgitation, and in the supine position this is very (!) Dangerous. The baby, sleeping from the moment of birth on his stomach, earlier begins to hold his head; during the movements it additionally massages its own stomach, it makes it easier for gases to escape. With a dense mattress and the absence of a pillow, all sorts of talk about the possibility of suffocation is simply meaningless. It is also unfair to say that without a pillow a child lying on its side will roll its neck. If you wrap it with a dozen diapers, it might turn it around, but if it is one or two diapers, it will never.

Motion sickness

Children have a very weak vestibular apparatus (balance organ). When swinging, a feeling of dizziness quickly arises, and in some cases the child simply loses consciousness. In folk language, this is called "rocked". It’s extremely difficult for a kid accustomed to swing to wean. Therefore, it is very important not to start, because motion sickness, to put it mildly, is not very useful for the child and not very pleasant for parents.

Walk

Mother’s walks, consisting of rolling a stroller from one street to another, are not needed for the child. I perfectly understand that you really want to demonstrate a new-fashioned caravan to your neighbors and friends, but the baby cannot understand this. Mom always has a ton of things to do and it won’t be good that you walk around enough, and dad who comes home from work will scour the kitchen for food. In addition, it is not necessary for passersby to sneeze at the child and dirt to fly from under the wheels.

Any ride in the streets should be determined by the need: there are no helpers, but you need to visit a store or dairy kitchen, it's time to go to the clinic, in the evening you want to walk with your husband and relax from the hustle and bustle, there is no balcony, in the end.

The sooner you begin to teach your child to stay in the fresh air, the better. Already on the 10th day of life, you can sit with him on the balcony for about 15-20 minutes. The next day - 2 times for half an hour and, gradually increasing the frequency and duration of walks, by the age of one month, make sure that the child spends all day on the balcony.

Woke up, fed - to walk. Brought, fed - for a walk and so on. On the balcony, the child always sleeps better and eats after that with great appetite. And it is completely incomprehensible why one should walk 1 or 2 times a day.

On the balcony, the child usually sleeps on his side. It is important at the same time to arrange the stroller so that you can see his face through the window glass without jumping out onto the balcony.

In the described walking mode, not only the child is interested, but also his parents. You will never have such “golden” time again. For the first 3-4 months of life, the baby sleeps peacefully on the balcony for most of the day, allowing the mother to rest normally and put in order children's things, the apartment and herself.

General principles of child nutrition

From the moment of birth to the appearance of teeth, the basis of the baby’s nutrition is:

1. Mother's milk with natural feeding;

2. Adapted milk mixture with artificial feeding;

3. The combination of the first and second with mixed feeding.

Where and in what to bathe?

· Optimal bathing room - bathroom.

· The optimal place for swimming is a large bathtub (regular, adult, cast-iron, etc.).

A large bath allows the child to move his arms, legs and head, without completely restricting movements - it is logical to assume that the bath will be completely filled with water.

In a large bath, the water cools more slowly, allowing parents not to twitch about this and not to stand with the kettle in their hands, looking at the thermometer every 30 seconds.

Actively moving in a large bath, the baby has the opportunity to spend energy and get tired, therefore, his sleep and appetite improve. In addition, muscles and heart are trained. And if the child sleeps well, then his mother sleeps well, having, firstly, milk, secondly, strength for various household chores and, thirdly, the desire to do these things.

There is no need to boil water. Absolutely no! And it’s okay if the child slurps several times during bathing. Themselves, I suppose, and from the river slurping.

It makes little sense to add potassium permanganate (potassium permanganate) to water. There is almost no real disinfection, and if it gets into the eyes, chemical burns are possible.

The most optimal option is an infusion of a succession (such grass).

A child without particular risk (more precisely, generally without risk) can be immersed in a bath with a water temperature of 26 ° to 37 °. Thus, there is nothing to be especially afraid of for a child. But, before solving other problems, it is nevertheless necessary to decide what kind of water temperature is ideal for swimming?

Water should not allow the child to relax. Cold exposure to the skin dramatically increases blood flow in the muscles, increases their tone. The heart works more actively, biologically active substances that stimulate the metabolism and increase resistance to infections are thrown into the blood.

A child in water with a temperature above 35 ° does not have any incentive to move and develop. Making him bounce his arms and legs is pretty hard. But such a bath, as a rule, does not cause any unpleasant sensations in the baby - after all, although he is a cub, he is human and by nature a lazy person. And in the water he demonstrates bliss with all his appearance, causing reciprocal bliss among the crowd of relatives present.

But swimming in warm water gives absolutely nothing to your health! Wash (wash off the dirt), maybe in such water is better, but you can’t swim for health in the indicated temperature conditions!

At the same time, when immersed in water with a temperature below 30 °, the child very often has negative emotions, not that he was cold, not at all. But he does not want to move his arms and legs to keep warm, and begins to resent. And grandmothers are indignant along with him ... Well, you don’t need to turn the beginning of bathing into a test for all family members - this can very quickly develop a child’s negative reflex to just one kind of bathroom. A child screaming in the bath leads to increased pressure in grandmothers, who also need to be loved and cherished.

The optimum temperature to start swimming is 33-34 °.

Swimming should be done daily!

No matter how hard it costs you. Believe me, it is better to spend 1 hour a day swimming, rather than months wandering around hospitals.

The ideal time for swimming is before the last feeding, that is, from 23 to 24 hours. If you do everything right, the child will be very tired, a little freezes, very hungry, after a bath with appetite, eats and sleeps without waking up (!) For 5-6 hours, although I met children who slept at 6 months of age when they were one month old 8 hours without any desire to communicate with mom.

Vision

1. It should not be allowed in the children's room to be dim. This delays the ability to distinguish colors.

2. Toys should be large and bright. Their color also matters: in the first half of life - optimally yellow and green, and then, the more diverse the colors, the better.

3. In order for the child to learn to see correctly, you should not hang toys in front of him at close range (less than 40 cm) in the first 3-4 months - he will not be able to clearly see anything, but there is a risk of strabismus.

Hearing

It must be remembered that children very quickly get used to a certain sound mode. If, from the moment you are born, you will walk around the house on tiptoe and talk exclusively in a whisper, you will have a chance to go through your whole life like this.

This provision is especially relevant for families without a large number of rooms. Continue to live normally. Listen to music, watch TV, talk on the phone. And your baby will be able to sleep throughout his life without waking up from the coughing neighbor next to the wall.

The health of the child and the common sense of his relatives

A small but very important introduction

... and when asked to bring the most beautiful of all that is in the whole world, the crow brought her child ...
Parable

Almost no one ever reads non-fiction literature from beginning to end - like a novel. With regard to books with information about children, problems and illnesses, this is especially true. Why read about the nutritional rules of a pregnant woman when a child has constipation? We open the chapter on constipation, get the necessary information, and try to implement the tips and recommendations with a sense of deep satisfaction.

The author, of course, really wants you to read everything in order. But, since there is little hope for this, to prevent further misunderstandings I will allow myself a brief instruction-information for those who are ready to start reading (options - viewing, flipping, studying).

1. The book consists of three main parts:

● Part one - is devoted to the two most important stages in the life of the child and his parents - pregnancy and the first year of life.

● Part two - a child older than a year, of course, not by itself, but in conjunction with dad-mother, grandfathers, kindergarten schools, the environment and the health care system.

● Part three - diseases, hospitals, doctors, medicines; what to do, what never to do.

2. Everything that you read should be considered, first of all, as information for consideration. No living soul in the whole world can love your child and understand your child like you. A completely different thing is that, understanding, loving, and even thinking, thinking, thinking, and so, under all these conditions, it is far from always possible to succeed.

3. Success in relation to the process of care and upbringing is a relative concept: depending on which belfry to look at. From the point of view of the teacher, the polite winner of the city physics and mathematics Olympiad, which does not crawl out of hospitals, is an undoubted success. A completely healthy juvenile gangster (if you wash him and prevent him from talking) will delight the pediatrician with the excellent work of internal organs and excellent analyzes.

4. The golden mean - a simultaneous and abundant balm for the soul of relatives, doctors and teachers - this is a smart, well-educated and healthy child. This phenomenon is extremely rare, but, implementing a certain program of care and upbringing, at least we should know what to strive for.

5. The actual level of health or ill health of a particular child depends on four factors:

● heredity, that is, that inherited from mom and dad;

● environment (ecology + living conditions);

● health systems;

● the process of care and upbringing, that is, the relationship of the child and his relatives.

6. The aforementioned care and upbringing constitute certain definite actions, a set of measures. But the main paradox is as follows: 100% of the adult population knows HOW TO DO CHILDREN, but 99.9% do not know WHAT TO DO WITH CHILDREN.

7. The main task of this book is to eliminate the paradox of the situation, in an accessible form to provide the reader with the opportunity to determine for himself what to do with the child and what should never be done.

Acquaintance

A greater or lesser degree of respect for the author depends on the greater or less similarity of his ideas with those of the reader.
Helvetius

The author is not a professor or even an assistant professor, but simply a children's doctor - the most ordinary, who graduated from an ordinary medical institute. And this book is written for ordinary people, living an ordinary human life. what in theory creates conditions for future understanding.

The author addresses this book to parents - those who have already become parents, and especially those who are just about to become them. This is not a textbook, not a collection of recipes and instructions, not an encyclopedia and, God forbid, not a guide to diagnosis and treatment!

This is most likely a medium-sized guide that should help you avoid many problems.

The main thing is a little common sense, a little logical thinking - and we will agree on everything.

A huge number of works written on a similar subject are written all over the world. It is not surprising that, having spent on acquiring the next “work”, future or already completed father and mother want to first of all find out what the features of this work are and whether they exist at all.

There are three such features:

First feature - the ability to implement recommendations. Indeed, hundreds of books on child care and parenting are written in such a way that the process of communication with a child is perceived in isolation from real life. Such “trifles” as a hungry dad who came home from work, shops and clinics, disappeared hot water, a broken iron, an especially wise mother-in-law, another pregnancy, downsizing, the number of days to pay, etc., are not taken into account.

Second feature consists in the fact that, having a higher medical education, the author himself does not always and not all understand everything in clever works designed for a “wide readership”. Therefore, he really, really tried to make the book as accessible as possible, but not primitive.

Third featureperhaps the main thing - I’m not just saying “do it this way” - I’m trying to convince you that this is exactly what you should do.

It should be noted that modern parents quite rarely assume the whole burden of responsibility for the health of the child. Allegedly, the state approach to this issue is that the district doctor is supposedly responsible for the child’s health “in general”. But the answers to most of the “children's questions” are given at family councils, where mom and dad - as the least experienced people - play a minor role. On the one hand, this is understandable. On the other hand, it is mom and dad who always turn out to be “extreme” if the child is sick or behaves badly. Here, relatives, friends and, of course, grandparents will not fail to notice that it was necessary

On the other hand, it’s Mom and Dad who always turn out to be “extreme” if the child is sick or behaves badly. Here relatives, acquaintances and, of course, grandparents will not fail to notice that it was necessary to obey the elders.

In connection with the foregoing, paying attentionmom and Dad at the following points:

- Looking around, you can easily make sure that neither you yourself nor your friends differ in iron health. Therefore, the phrase uttered by the mother-in-law or the mother-in-law: “I raised three” is not any weighty argument.

- no matter what friends, relatives and acquaintances advise you, remember the main thing: do not sleep at night, you and only you will run around pharmacies and hospitals!

“You know perfectly well: remodeling (re-educating, retraining) is much more difficult than doing the right thing from the very beginning.” Therefore, do not bring your child to a state where only the most drastic measures will allow you to overcome the difficulties that have arisen. It’s better to choose the right direction from birth: it’s easier, cheaper, and more pleasant.

If, from birth, it didn’t work out, they didn’t know or thought that you knew, didn’t want, didn’t understand - remember: it’s never too late to take up the mind, but the sooner the easier.

The health of our children in most cases does not suit either parents or pediatricians

And this is doubly unpleasant given the fact that in terms of the number of pediatric doctors we left far behind not only Bangladesh, but also the United States of America.

The conclusion is simple.: neither the quantity nor quality of pediatricians can solve children's health problems. And it is impossible, most likely because the mentioned health is much more dependent on mom and dad than on all pediatricians combined.In other words, parents can very well make their child hurt a little, and if they still hurt, they have the ability to resist illness and recover with minimal loss.

This is where the role of the pediatrician becomes clear, to which one must always strive, everywhere and under any circumstances - the role of a consultant. And in this role the pediatrician is needed not so much the child as the parents of the child!

In this book we will try to help mom and dad learn the basic principles of care and upbringing, the main rules for helping with illnesses. But you will have to implement them in practice yourself - there really is no one to wait for help from. True, the principles of the author and the life position of the parents may not coincide, therefore, to be frank to the end, I inform the following:

- The author is a categorical and consistent opponent of pediatric and pedagogical extremism in all its manifestations. Therefore, any attempts to find recipes in this book on how to bathe newborns in the ice hole or take three-month-old children in the ice hole, how to dig in the nose with urine or teach a one-year-old child to read, a two-year-old to play chess, and a three-year-old to prepare for the future are doomed to failure. family life;

- the author is convinced that the birth and upbringing of children is not the main and only purpose of man. And birth and upbringing represent only one (perhaps the largest and most important) side of the polyhedron, which under no circumstances should overlap its other sides - love, companionship, work, books, pets, hobbies (knitting, fishing, new hairstyle, car, garden);

- nobody, nothing, and can ever shake the author’s confidence that a HAPPY child is, first of all, a HEALTHY child and only then can read and play the violin. A happy child is a child who has both mom and dad, who find time not only to love this child, but also to love each other.

That, in fact, is all. If satisfied - read on, no - sorry ...

PART ONE. THE BEGINNING OF THE LIFE OF YOUR CHILD

1.1. PREGNANCY

“How much we were tired because of what did not happen, but it could only happen”

Thomas Jefferson

Man is the King of Nature, but at the same time is part of it. The part that violated the Main Law of the Jungle

And she rose above everyone else, while creating herself and everyone below, a lot of trouble. At the heart of these troubles are constant and, unfortunately, completely unfruitful attempts to combat the laws of Nature. Who will claim that man as a biological species is created incorrectly? No one!

Consequently, the hereditary information transmitted from generation to generation is quite good, and Nature is trying to get rid of the deviations arising on its own, despite the active opposition to modern medicine.

A human cub born into the world already owns a set of hereditary (gene) traits called genotype.

But, the born owner of the genotype does not have the ability to independently dispose of their wealth. Under the influence of the environment, the genotype turns into phenotype- a well-defined set of external signs.

With the same genotype, you can get an enormous number of phenotypes - here it all depends on:

1. Habitat(climate, city, village, nearby plant or, conversely, pine forest, basement, tenth floor, dust, chemistry, radiation, etc.);

2. Of parents, more precisely, from the conditions that they will create for their child.

With Wednesday - here it’s like someone was lucky. And parents, by the way, are you and I.

The essence of the above reasoning is obvious: from the point of view of Nature (genotype), the health of a child is very little different from the health of his predecessor, who was born 20 or 30 thousand years ago and did not know what steam heating, adapted milk mixture, sterile nipple, boiled water and much, much more, but at the same time, managed to not only survive, but also give offspring. And this very posterity we are, by the way, and we are. AND our main task is not to allow the child to lose the health that his Nature has already awarded.

It is necessary to start solving the task as early as possible - it is best already during pregnancy.

Pregnancy does not occur on its own, without prior sexual intercourse.

It follows that all other signs: the absence of menstruation and, on the contrary, the presence of vomiting, nausea, and rapidly changing views on the surrounding reality - are just a consequence of one of the most interesting, significant and widespread manifestations of human life, namely, sex life.

The likelihood that this book will fall into the hands of a person who is not familiar with why pregnancy occurs and how it manifests is very small. Well, since we have agreed to this before, we will agree: if in doubt (suspicion), you should consult a doctor who, answering such questions, earns a living and is called a gynecologist.

We do not set as our goal the discussion of the causes of pregnancy (when, after which, why, from whom, etc.). Both the author and the readers are interested in pregnancy, of course, but, first of all, from the perspective of the child, how to live the expectant mother, in order to give birth later and at the same time minimize the need for a children's doctor.

The procedure in which the same person is entrusted with the supervision of the pregnant woman, the adoption of childbirth and the subsequent observation of the child, unfortunately, is not accepted at all.

And there is nothing good in it. Because the points of view of the gynecologist and the pediatrician quite often do not coincide: what is good for the mother (and the gynecologist) is not always good for the child (and the pediatrician).

So, the most ordinary woman who has reached childbearing age, decided not to miss this age. This most ordinary woman by Nature herself is prepared for bearing a child and giving birth.

And Nature, and human nature, and the laws of logic, and indeed elementary common sense, are not able to explain why a pregnant woman should not get tired, sleep more, do not lift more than 1 kilogram, etc. After all, this same woman several thousand years ago in a similar situation would continue to live according to the laws of the tribe - well, who would stop cooking or move after the deer just because someone’s stomach is bothering him or he’s sick, you see ... And you have to think for yourself. Imagine your husband as a large shaggy and not too good-smelling male, and yourself as a female preoccupied with an "interesting situation", who simply should in the process of pregnancy, firstly, not allow this male to overrun to another, and secondly , to maintain optimism and, to what modesty, beauty.

The most important rule is

PREGNANCY - DO NOT DISEASE!

However, very, very many women view this condition in this way. In many respects, gynecologists help them - rarely does a visit to a doctor end with discussions about a narrow pelvis, a wry uterus, inflammation of the appendages and in general - how did you, girl, have managed ... Yes, and girlfriends say about the hellish torment of the hospital. Again, you have to pass a lot of tests and get around a lot of experts. I can swear on oath that I have never met a person who visited a large number of doctors, passed a large number of tests and did not find any sickness dozing in him. Moreover, it is customary for us to run around with doctors after pregnancy has become a fait accompli, and not before ...

By the way, the fact of pregnancy in most cases gives rise to many other problems - sexual, material, finally, housing.

And there is nothing strange in the fact that a stressful state is a surprisingly frequent pregnancy companion. After all, it is very difficult to resist the plentiful influx of negative information. To do this, you must have very, very strong brains or not have them at all. Both are rare, therefore it is desirable to remember:

- you need to listen, first of all yourself - to move if you want to move, to sleep, if you want to sleep, eat, if you want to eat, and make love with your husband if you want to make it.

- if you want a baby and at the same time are already pregnant, then no illnesses discovered by doctors should cause you despair. Observe at heart the fact that you had to wave your hands earlier, but do not try to save yourself, because it is difficult to find methods of treatment that are simultaneously useful for both the child and the mother;

- any treatment of a pregnant woman should be carried out only when it is definitely impossible to do without it (bleeding, a clear threat of disruption, nephropathy, revealed diabetes mellitus, rheumatism or other passions);

You live in a country where the number of inspectors and those who teach how to treat is almost equal to the number of those who really treat. The person who heals knows perfectly well that no one will scold him for prescribing 10 drugs with a cold - after all, at least one candidate dissertation is protected for each of these 10 drugs. Pregnancy is always a risk. The obvious risk for the pregnant woman and the equally obvious risk for the doctor, who, given the assessment of his work by society, is not going to take any risks.

And one must have a lot of courage not to appoint, not to send for a consultation, not to be put in a hospital, not to start stimulating, not to be prohibited. It is necessary to break away from the papers and find time to calmly talk, explain and, in the end, consciouslysplit the risk in half. But the doctor is checked, not by patient reviews, but by the quality of the “documents” written by him! And as soon as any diagnosis is recorded on the card, you must definitely treat it: what if there’s some trouble, then the teachers and examiners will ask you in all severity - how did you not prescribe this, my friend? And after all, indeed, sometimes troubles happen - in one of 100, but they are prescribed to everyone - just in case. Help the doctor to be honest and frank with you - do not demand deficiencies from him and your immediate salvation, do not shout: “we will get it”, find out after all what will happen if you don’t do anything and it’s more dangerous to heal or not to heal. For obvious reasons, I do not name specific diseases, this is not the point. Just a pregnant woman should try to look at herself through the eyes of the doctor to whom she came. She must understand what any doctor understands: pregnancy is a normal physiological process, and the less we interfere with normal physiological processes, the better it will be for all of us!

And if not quite normal? It is necessary to think so, are we so wise that Mother Nature is disturbed if she stumbles a little. And if it’s not at all normal - then be treated, but remember at the same time a wonderful aphorism born among practical doctors: “What is rare is very rare; that which happens very rarely never happens. ”

1.1.1. WHEN IS IT BETTER TO BE PREGNANT?

Much to the enormous regret, pregnancy planning is still not a universal rule. But if your family in its evolution has achieved that, firstly, it can afford pregnancy at a certain moment, and secondly, it can make this pregnancy a real fact, then you should know: the higher by the time of conception the level of health of future fathers and mothers, the healthier the child will be.

Therefore desirable BEFORE THAT:

- check the state of your health and, if necessary, heal;

- be sure to visit the dentist;

- Have a good rest (optimal - spend the vacation not on the couch, but in nature);

- “tie up” with various harmfulnesses (smoking, drinking strong drinks, watching TV);

- as much as possible to limit contacts with household chemicals and the use of pharmacological agents;

- somewhat limit sexual activity.

Many care about the time of year, month, and even a specific day. I can’t say anything about the day (it’s better to find out from astrologers), and with regard to the time of year I will note the following. The maximum level of health for a particular person occurs in the fall (September – October): a sufficient amount of fresh vegetables and fruits, summer vacations (sun, air, water, physical activity). On the other hand, it is very good when a baby is born in autumn - it is easier to organize hardening, winter is ahead (it will be more difficult to overheat). Again, it’s very good when the first half of a child’s life falls on the winter months - the immunity to many viruses inherited from the mother is still in effect, therefore, the probability of getting sick is noticeably less.

The logic, most likely, is that if there are no serious health problems for future parents, the conception should be planned for January-February, in order to give birth in the fall. Well, if health is not in order, “do” the child in the fall.

A special question is the age of the future mother. It is clear that at the age of 18 you will be later than at 35. But r the best thing is that you have a baby for yourself, and not as a gift to your grandparents.Therefore, it is better to be a mother at 30 years old than a cuckoo at 18.

And further. Even having a puppy, people tend to think about where he will sleep, what he will eat and who will walk with him. It is you and only you who are obligated to ensure the existence of a person who is born to your child ...

The health of the child and the common sense of his relatives

I believe that we came after others in order to do better than them, so as not to fall into their mistakes, their errors and superstitions.

The best from Dr. Komarovsky

"Beginning of life. Your child from birth to one year

This accessible and fascinating book will tell you in detail about the most difficult and crucial stage in the life of a child and his parents.

The handbook covers the health issues of children of any age and, without a doubt, will be a necessary tool for all caring and sensible parents for a long time.

“Handbook of sane parents. Part two. Urgent care"

The purpose of this book is to provide mothers and fathers with the necessary knowledge in order to be able to preserve their child's life and health.

A small but very important introduction

... and when asked to bring the most beautiful of all that is in the whole world, the crow brought her child ...

Almost no one ever reads non-fiction literature from beginning to end - like a novel. With regard to books with information about children, problems and illnesses, this is especially true. Why read about the nutritional rules of a pregnant woman when a child has constipation? We open the chapter on constipation, get the necessary information and try to implement the tips and recommendations with a sense of deep satisfaction.

The author, of course, really wants you to read everything in order. But, since there is little hope for this, in order to prevent further misunderstandings, I will allow myself a brief instruction-information for those who are ready to start reading (options - viewing, flipping, studying).

1 The book consists of three main parts:

Part one is devoted to the two most important stages in the life of the child and his parents - pregnancy and the first year of life.

Part two - a child older than a year, of course, not by itself, but in conjunction with mom-dad, grandfathers, kindergarten schools, the environment and the health care system.

Part Three - Diseases, hospitals, doctors, medicines; what to do, what never to do.

2 Everything that you read should be considered, first of all, as information for consideration. No living soul in the whole world can love your child and understand your child like you. Another thing entirely is that, understanding, loving, and even thinking, thinking, thinking, and so, under all these conditions, it is far from always possible to succeed.

3 Success in relation to the process of care and upbringing is a relative concept: depending on which belfry to look at. From the point of view of the teacher, the polite winner of the city physics and mathematics Olympiad, which does not crawl out of hospitals, is an undoubted success. An absolutely healthy juvenile gangster (if you wash him and forbid him to talk) will delight the pediatrician with the excellent work of internal organs and excellent analyzes.

4 The golden mean - a simultaneous and abundant balm for the soul of relatives, doctors and teachers - this is a smart, well-educated and healthy child. This phenomenon is extremely rare, but, implementing a certain program of care and upbringing, we at least should know what to strive for.

5 The actual level of health or ill health of a particular child depends on four factors:

Heredity, that is, that inherited from mom and dad;

Environment (ecology + living conditions);

Health systems;

The process of care and education, i.e., the relationship of the child and his relatives.

6 The aforementioned care and upbringing are some very definite actions, a certain set of measures. But the main paradox is as follows: 100% of the adult population know how to make children, but 99.9% do not know what to do with children later.

7 The main task of this book is to eliminate the paradox of the situation, in an accessible form to provide the reader with the opportunity to determine for himself what to do with the child and what should never be done.
