Set the sequence of events sequence of days in the week. Methods

The technique is intended to identify intelligence, the ability to understand the connection of events and build consecutive conclusions. Announced A. N. Bernstein.

For experience, a series of plot pictures are needed (in the amount of 3-6 paintings), which show the steps of any event.

There are a series corresponding to children's age, as well as a series for adults (see stimulus material).

The originals of these series are painted, but you can use their photocopies.

The subject show the pack of mixed cards and say: "Here, here in all the pictures the same event is depicted. It is necessary to disassemble, where it all began, what happened further and what the case was over. That's here (the experimenter points the place) Put the first picture on which the beginning is drawn here - the second, third ... and the last one here. "

After the subject decomposed all the pictures, the experimenter writes in the protocol, as he laid out (for example: 5, 4, 1, 2, 3), and only after that he asks the subject to tell in order about what happened. If he decomposed incorrectly, he is asked questions, the purpose of which to help the patient to establish a contradiction in his arguments, to identify the mistakes made.

If the second attempt is unsuccessful, then the experimenter itself shows the test sequence of events and, mixing all the cards again, suggests it to decompose them again - for the third time or make a story, reflecting the sequence of events.

Intellectual underdevelopment, difficulty of reflection, peculiar to oligophrenam and patients with organic diseases of the brain, are manifested in the fact that patients, coping with light series, cannot navigate more difficult; In the same series, they are usually mistaken on one more difficult picture.

Some forms of inertness of mental processes of patients are clearly detected with this technique: decomposing the picture for the first time is incorrectly, patients later repeat the same erroneous version of the sequence. Such a "tendency to jams" is observed in certain organic diseases of the brain in children, as well as in high age.

When interpreting the results of the study, attention should be paid to how the patient reacts to the leading issues and critical objections of the experimenter, "picks up" whether he does not understand this assistance.

Significant interest are the features of the oral speech of patients who detected during the explanation of the sequence of events (grammatically connected, deployed or monosyllabic, poor, concise, or with a tendency to excessive detail).

Difficulties in establishing the plot according to the series of drawings indicate the insufficiency of the level of processes of generalization and distraction.

Research Associations

The three techniques given in this section cannot be considered aimed at studying thinking in the true sense of the word. The execution of instructions does not require test focused logical actions, is not associated with the solution of mental problems. However, detecting the features of the flow of associations, they can be useful for analyzing the subtle signs of thinking disorders.

3.10.1. Test "Title 60 words"

The technique identifies the nature and productivity of the association of the subject, as well as its vocabulary.

The technique resembles an associative experiment K. Jung. He suggested the subject to call any senses, assuming that in such a free stream of associations, his experiences, subconscious aspirations and fears can be revealed. Without going into a critical analysis of such a direction of research, we indicate only that it is now extremely rarely applied. Significantly more often this experimental reception is used to study the association connectivity.

To carry out experience, the experimenter must prepare a gently writing pen (or pencil) and a stopwatch (or ordinary clock). It is undesirable to carry out this experiment after the "classification of objects".

The study is carried out under the type of speech speed check. The experimenter says to the subject: "Let's check how quickly you can talk. Please name 60 of any words - anyway, just as soon as possible. Try not to call what you see in front of you. Start! ".

All words that the subject calls, the experimenter must trigger write. The time spent the time spent on the pronouncement of words.

In case the subject calls words with long pauses, the experimenter does not take off the pencil from paper and, while the patient. Silent, continues to put a point in a number of words. The number of points delivered gives an idea of \u200b\u200bthe relative length of the pauses made by the patient.

Experience lasts 2 minutes, sometimes less if the patient is not able to call words.

For mentally healthy people, as well as schoolchildren, the task is no difficulty. Words are usually called "nests", 4-7 words from any field of adjacent representations, and then an understandable transition to the next "nest", i.e., is a close number of words. For example, the subject calls: "Tiger, wolf, elk, bear, skin, fur, fur coat, coat, costume, cloak." In this series, the enumeration of animals should be transferred, and then after the transition of the "skin - fur" - the next nest: types of clothing. Very large "nests", i.e., transfer 10 - 12 objects of the same number, and sometimes more, indicate an excessive circumstance, inertness of the patients's thinking.

Special attention deserve fast, sudden transitions from one content of the representations to another. For example, the patient quickly calls a number of words: "Pearls, airship, despite, cinnamon, moc., Fisharmonium." In this row it is impossible to catch the meaningful links between the words, but the Associations on the sound (cinnamon, Mokric) are clearly acting. This type of association is found in patients with schizophrenia.

In other cases, elements of the ruins of associations are detected among an adequate meaningful series of words. So, for example, "spruce, emerald, happiness, Ivanov, tree, brains, chizh, scoop, parrot, spruce, Barybinsk, nightingale, galli kurch, galya, waterpads, duty, silk, situz, kamanol, mytishchi, Ostankino, fist, Tree, fool. It should be emphasized that it is necessary to conclude about the violation of the association's connectivity, only when the patient pronounces words quickly, and does not invent them, painfully looking for in memory.

This sample may also be useful for identifying wealth or poverty of the vocabulary and stock of representations. For example, in a patient with an unknown history (with the limitation of oligophrenia to the degree of imbecyl nature from the schizophrenic defect), this trial unexpectedly revealed a large stock of abstract concepts and complex representations (the test called a number of words: aerodynamics, spray, space, Milky Way, induction .. . etc.), which is impossible for imbecylness.

The technique was proposed by A. N. Bernstein (1911) to study the comparison, that is, a comparative assessment of several data in their relations to each other.

To perform the task, the subject must set the differences in the individual elements of the drawings and, guided by them. Dexte the sequence of the location of the plot drawings, establish the connection of events reflected in these figures.

For research, it is necessary to prepare several series of scene drawings. These series are distinguished by the degree of complexity. For the same purpose, the stories in the figures of X are used. Bidstock. The latter are more complex. In addition, when using cartoons, the character of the task changes somewhat - the availability of humor component is detected for the patient in the plot. For the study, pictures of the relevant subtests of the research methodology of Waxes and Meili can be used. The examiner explains that some event is depicted in the pictures, and if it is correct, in order, will be placed, then a connected story about this event will be. Then the investigating registers in the protocol for the location of patients with drawings and records the accompanying task to motivate the solution, the course of reasoning. If the task is immediately performed erroneously, you can specify this to the subject and suggest to start all over again.

The ratio of the patient to the detected errors is important. In some cases, especially in case of oral organic cerebral diseases, it indicates a violation of the criticalness of thinking. If the patient, despite the hint of the studied, cannot correctly arrange drawings, then the experience can be simplified - the series of plot drawings is proposed to him in the correct order, and it should only make a story that would reflect the sequence of developments.

In explaining the patient, the stroke of his reasoning, it is necessary to find out what served as the main criterion for the conversion of these drawings in time - whether the elements common for all drawings were identified, as a change in them, distinguishing one drawing from the other.

Difficulties in establishing the development of the plot according to the drawings series indicate insufficiency of the level of improved and distraction processes. Especially clearly they

detected during organic lesions of the brace with the predominant localization in the frontal departments (B. V. Zeigarnik, 1943; A. R. Luria, 1947), when the patients describe each drawing separately, but they cannot compare them and come to absolutely ridiculous conclusions about the developing event developing in these patterns. Moreover, for such patients with frontal syndrome, the absolute noncriticality of thinking is characterized, their erroneous arguments are not available correction.

Methodology for identifying disturbances of thinking criticality

Developed (V. M. Blaikher, V. A. Khudik, 1982) based on the method of establishing a sequence of events. The uncriticality of thinking in an experimental situation modeling with the method of methods is characterized by a loss of control over intelligent processes, the involuntary of the activity of the activity.

The technique includes several series of pictures commonly used to establish a detection sequence on them a specific plot. First episode (Fig. 5a) Contains 4 pictures, the second (Fig. 56)- 6 pictures.

Two pictures of the second series, however, do not correspond to the storyline of the story, they either contain the details that contradict him, or they are ignored by some of the main signs that play an important role in the development of the plot. However, in style, and on the main characters, they do not significantly differ from other pictures of the second series.

Parallel variants have been developed that allow for repeated examinations of a patient with this technique through some time, for example in the treatment process.

Patients with violations of thinking criticality cannot unite the artifacts. They are trying to include them in the pictures, the story becomes meaningless. Some patients, making sure that the story is not seated, postpone all the pictures aside and declare the study that you cannot task.

Classification

The classification technique is used to study the level of processes of generalization and distraction, sequence of judgment. In the process of the study, the attitude of the experimental situation is revealed to the nature of the task, its confidence or uncertainty in the correctness of the decision, his attitude to errors - whether he himself notices or after the prompting of the investigative, whether the mistakes admitted or defended them. The technique was first suggested by K. Goldstein (1920) for examination of patients with aphatic disorders. It is used in us in the modification of L. S. Vygotsky and B. V. Zeigarnik (1958).

For research requires a set of cards depicting different objects, plants, animals (Fig. 6).Images can be replaced with inscriptions. Thus, we can talk about the proper and verbal classification - these techniques, as well as the similar, verbal and subject embodiments of the exclusion methodology are not equivalent, as evidenced by the studies of T I. Tepolichina (1959) and V. M. Blahher (1965). For example, the features of schizophrenic thinking are easier to protrude with the subject classification. Significantly more difficult to substantial classification compared with the verbal and for patients with a reduced level of synthesis and distraction processes, as it contains more elements (parts of the figure) providing insignificant, specific associations.

A set of cards for classification should be specifically prepared, provide for the possibility of various levels of generalization. Unopenedly made card sets prevent the task execution, for example, according to a specific situational type. In this regard, it is desirable to use the scoring of cards prepared in the Department of Medical Psychology of the GSC Psychiatry and Narcology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

In experiment, two main stages can be distinguished. On the first examined more or less independently forms groups: clothes, furniture, school supplies, instruments, measuring instruments, people. The last two groups, as S. Ya. Rubinstein (1962), represent the greatest difficulties for allocation. So, combining together hours, weights, thermometer and caliper requires the allocation of the most significant, abstract feature that detects their affinity. The group of people includes various representatives, characterized on cards in different ways: representatives

different professions, skier and finally baby. The allocation of the subjects under these groups indicates a certain storage of generalization and distraction processes. At the second stage, the formation of larger groups - plants, livelihoods and objects. This stage characterizes a higher level of generalization.

Experience is carefully logged. All groupings are noted - the correct and erroneous. In this case, it is important to remove the attitude of the patient to the detected error in the protocol - whether it corrects it, whether this error is repeated in the next. It is necessary to register the reasoning of the patient during the execution of the task, as they often contain a motivation of erroneous judgment. The presence of several identical, names of the same name (for example, two groups of clothing, separation into several groups of dishes) indicates the failure of attention.

An exception

The data obtained in the study of the exclusion method is allowed to judge the level of the processes of generalization and divergence, the ability of the subject to highlight the essential signs of objects or phenomena. There are two options for exception - verbal and subject.

The verbal option is performed using a form that contains a series of 5 words. The examiner says that four out of five words in the series are in some extent homogeneous

concepts and can be combined according to them for them, a sign of them, and one word does not comply with these requirements and should be excluded. If the surveyed immediately did not care about the instructions, then one - two examples exploring decides together with him: "Vasyiyi, Fyodor, Semyon and Porfiry - names, and Ivanov - surname";

"Milk, cream, cheese, sour cream - dairy products, and fat - animal fat." Making sure that the principle of the implementation of the examination was learned, he was proposed to independently fulfill the following examples, drawing out the pencil on a special blank to exception the word. In the absence of blanks, the investigative reads a series of words and notes the character in the protocol.

We present typical examples for research on the exclusion method in its verbal version: DRY, old, worn, small, dilapidated; Brave, brave, brave, angry, relevant.

A significant role is played by the relationship of the observed error - whether he himself noticed them or with the help of a studied, as it motivates erroneous solutions and how much correction is available.

For a substantive option, you need to prepare a set of cards, each of which contains images of 4 items (Fig. 7).Instructions are given: "Three items depicted on the rivynka have three of them, they can be combined into one group, called in one word, and one is essentially different from them and should be excluded." As in the previous embodiment, individual series are subject to the surveyed in a certain sequence, with increasing complexity. Along with the fulfilled tasks in this technique, a series of drawings is sometimes specifically introduced, where this kind cannot be made. Healthy in such cases or state that the task is impracticable, or is due to the formal response, for example, it is impossible to allocate a group of three, but if you insist, I suggest the following solution - unlike an apple, rose, The fur coat and the book are inconsiderable. " This kind of impossible tasks are used when examining patients with schizophrenia.

The technique was proposed by A. N. Bernstein (1911) to study the comparison, that is, a comparative assessment of several data in their relationship to each other. To perform the task, the examiner must set differences in separate patterns of drawings and, guided by them, determine the sequence
location of plot drawings, establish the connection of events reflected on them.
For research, it is necessary to prepare several series of scene figures (Appendix VII), differing in the degree of complexity. For the same purpose, the stories in X drawings are used. Bidstrup. The latter are more complex. In addition, when using cartoons, the character of the task changes somewhat - the availability of humor component is detected for the patient in the plot.
The examined is explained that some event is depicted in the pictures, and if it is correctly correct, it will be placed in order, then a connected story about this event will be.
Then the survey registers in the protocol the order of the patient of the drawings and records the accompanying task to motivate the solution, the course of reasoning. If the task is immediately performed erroneously, you can specify it to be examined to offer to start all first. The ratio of the patient to the detected errors is important. In some cases, especially when weaping organic cerebral diseases, it indicates a violation of the criticality of thinking. If the patient, despite the examination of the surveying, cannot correctly arrange drawings, then the study simplifies - a series of plot figures offer it in the correct order, and it should only be a story that would reflect the sequence of events.
With the explanation of the soda of reasoning, it is necessary to find out what served as the main criterion for making these drawings in time - whether the elements common for all drawings have identified the elements for all drawings, as changes to them distinguish with the drawing from the previous one.
Difficulties in establishing the development of the plot according to the figures series indicate the insufficiency of the level of processes of generalization and distraction. Especially obviously, they are found in organic lesions of the brain with predominant localization in the frontal departments (B. V. Zaigarnik, 1943; A. R. Luria, 1947); When patients describe each drawing separately, but they cannot compare and come to absolutely
in order conclusions about developing on these russulls of events. Moreover, for this kind of patients with "frontal syndrome", the absolute noncriticality of thinking is characterized, erroneous reasoning is not available correction.
CLASSIFICATION
The classification technique is used to study the level of processes of generalization and distraction, sequence of judgment. In the process of research, the relationship is revealed. The relationship to the situation of the experiment and to the nature of the task, its confidence or insecurity in the correctness of the decision, its attitude to errors is whether he himself notices them or after the examination of the surveyed, whether the mistakes admitted or defended them.
The technique was first suggested by K. Goldstein (1920) for the study of patients-Afatic. We have it applied in the modification of L. S. Vygotsky (1956) and B. V. Zaigarnik (1958).
For research, a set of cards with the image of various objects, plants or living beings are needed. Images can be replaced with inscriptions. Thus, we can talk about the subject and verbal classification. These techniques, as well as similar verbal and subject variants of the exclusion methodology, are unequivocal, as evidenced by testing T. I. Teporynina (1959) and ours (1965). For example, the features of schizophrenic thinking are easier to protrude with a subject classification. A subject classification is significantly more difficult compared to verbal and for patients with a reduced level of generalization and distraction processes, as it contains more elements (details of the figure) provoking insignificant, specific associations.
A set of cards for classification should be specially prepared. Improperly made sets predetermine the task execution, for example, according to the specific situational type. In this regard, it is desirable to use the tested set of cards prepared in the laboratory of the experimental pathopsychology of the Psychiatry Institute of the Ministry of Health of the RSFSR (Appendix VIII).
In experiment, two main stages can be distinguished. On the first examined more or less
there is a standing group: clothing, furniture, school supplies, tools, measuring instruments, people. The last two groups, as S. Ya. Rubinstein (1962), represent the greatest difficulties for allocation. So, combining hours, scales, thermometer and ciglocks together requires the allocation of the most significant abstract feature that detects their affinity. The group of people includes various representatives, characterized on cards in different ways: representatives of various professions, skier and finally a child. The selection by the examined groups indicates a certain preservation of the processes of generalization and distraction.
At the second stage, the formation of larger groups - plants, animals and inanimate objects. This stage characterizes a higher level of generalization.
Research is carefully logged. The correct and erroneous groups are noted. The survey may indicate the patient to the allowed incorrectness. At the same time, it is important to note the attitude of the patient to the detected error in the protocol - whether it corrected it, whether this error is repeated later. It is necessary to register the reasoning of the patient during the execution of the task, as they often contain a motivation of erroneous judgment. The presence of identical, single-name groups (for example, two groups of clothing, separation into several groups of dishes) indicates deficiency of attention.
